Seems like a good gun

This feels like it is going to be a good gun and especially if it delivers as well as the rest of my aquired Metabo tools. Unfortunately I wont get to use it for at least a month or so. What I can say is NOT to buy the Senco belt hook as recommended by another reviewer here. If you put the Senco hook on the gun it will no longer fit inside the provided tool case. This gun is pretty light to begin with but if you need a hook at your disposal I would suggest getting one of the belt hooks similar to what is included with a Senco 42xp (it attaches to your belt not the gun itself). That way you have a hook or hanger on your belt which you can hang the gun on and it will still fit in the carrying case... Then its win-win.

Excellent Nailer

I bought this nailer for a whole-house demo/renovation. I'm not a professional - I'm just someone who can't afford to hire contractors to do all the work we needed to do - and this was a very easy nailer to set up, use and reload. I've always been a little intimidated by nail guns because they're noisy and have strong recoils. This one is relatively quiet, lightweight, and I don't have to hold it with a death grip to keep it from recoiling out of my hands every time. It's efficient and straightforward, and I appreciate how easy it is to use. We've used this nailer to build a chicken coop, reinforce kitchen cabinets, install shelving, and attach plastic to our greenhouse for the winter, and it's always worked perfectly. I highly recommend it!

I received the nail gun, but have not received the 1000 count nails that where part of a bundle.

This is FUN!!!!

Seems to work as it should. My son and I ran through a couple strips of nails playing with the automatic mode. The airblast/dusting port is cool but not sure how much I will use it unless I want a quick non-OSHA approved cool down.

Best nailers for me.

I'm a pro trim carpenter and Hitachi now Metabo nailers are my best performing and most reliable tools. Shoots many hundreds of nails daily and every nail is set consistantly. It's ergonomic and handles great. I like the fact that It requires oil. Oil it daily and it'll outlast oil less guns many times over. i NEVER get oil stains on my work. A Senco PCO350 1/4 inch belt hook is a must have to go on the nailer. This nailer is a money maker!!

Solid nailer with a couple minor issues

I've been happy with this nailer but there are a couple issues that prevent this from being a 5-star tool. 1: The depth adjustment is a pain. The wheel you turn is harder than it should be, which means that I just simply don't adjust depth as much as I should or would like to. 2: There are times when the gun doesn't recoil fully. It doesn't affect operation because the next nail still gets seated, but it feels like something is wrong when you only hear one pop when you press the trigger but not the other burst of air to recoil the gun immediately after. I've tried to figure out if I'm doing something wrong, but I simply can't figure out any pattern to it. 3: The "button" to release the spring loaded feed the pushes the nails up is also a little finicky. I often end up having to press it a couple of times for it to release. Not a huge deal but a little annoying.

This is a decent gun

I just finished installing a ton of soffits. I bought this 16g gun cause the brads are just a hair beefier for T and G cedar. The gun worked well no problems. The reason I gave it a 4 is that it would be an asset if the head had firm non-marking rubber to use as a hammer for light taps on the tongue of the cedar to hit it home. When on a ladder of scaffolding, having to pull out a mallet is a bit problematic. Also it would help to protect other surfaces when laying it down. Nails are easy to load and unload for size changes.

Incroyablement pratique

Remplace avec bonheur le marteau et les clous dans plusieurs situations. Puissant, même un peu trop et même avec la pression minimale de fonctionnement. Efficacité discutable du réglage de profondeur, jusqu’à se demander si ça fonctionne(?). Mais tellement magique!

Gutless

Nailer doesnt have enough power to drive a 2 inch nail into normal framing lumber much less any type of hardwood trim. Depth of drive is maxed out and compressor is at 110 psi. It's a shame really because the gun itself is quite nice.
