Buyer beware

I used this 23 gauge gun very little , and not very often over a span of a couple of months . I have only shot a few hundred pins total . I loved it at first , after about 100 pins it jammed . I cleared it and from then on it jammed at least once almost every time used it . Customer service asked me what pins I was using because you can only use certain brands , I responded with “ I didn’t understand why that is kept secret “ , I wanted replacement or my money back , and I was told I need to take it or ship it to one of their authorized repair places and they will determine if it is fixable, warrantable whatever , I don’t have time to waste on a what seems to be a substandard tool and a company who used to be great(Metabo) , but now does not value its customers . I purchased the 36 volt drill , the 36 volt 10” miter saw , the 18 volt 6.5” circular saw , the 36voltsawzall the 18 volt sander the 18 volt 18gauge nailer, the multi volt adapter to plug into house current . I spent a lot of money and I switched from makita to Metabo based on metabo’s past reputation for quality because my makita tools were getting old and I bought the makita pin nailer which has a bad reputation and like many others have said it jammed but they took it back . I wanted to keep it simple and have one brand so I would not need to have different brand chargers , so I decided to go with Metabo ironically all because of the pin nailer which I now feel was a huge mistake. The chargers that came with these tools are very different depending on 18 volt or 36 multi volt as is the warranty and unless you really pay attention at their page you’ll believe that all the tools are lifetime warranty , they are not the slide rail on the miter saw rusted after a couple of months (I sent the first miter saw back because it came damaged the one piece fence wasn’t true and material would bind on the blade and you couldn’t make accurate cuts , ) the larger batteries are hard to get off of the charger and off of the tools Ihave big hands , It must be impossible for someone with small hands Iam going to clean and wax them to see if they will slide easier the switch on the sander is faulty I sometimes have to turn it on and off 3 times to get it to stay on the sawzall is difficult to get blades in and out the pin nailer does not work at all and for the customer service was no real help , and I need to carry multiple chargers , for those reasons I would not recommend purchasing these tools , but I do love the 36 volt drill and the 18 ply 6.5” circular saw
