A Very Helpful Tool

I had hip replacement surgery a month ago and have just been able to go to a cane from the walker. I started with a wooden cane with a T handle and a rubber cap on the bottom, because I didn't want to look like an "invalid", just someone walking along with a cool cane. I learned very quickly that ego should not be at the top of my recovery journey. I immediately felt lower back soreness from not having the right posture and didn't have a lot of confidence about keeping my balance. When I almost fell down from the cane sliding away from me, I ordered this cane. I thought the tripod bottom feet and the cane that swiveled with me would keep me balanced at every angle - and I was not wrong. I am progressing nicely with the walking exercise needed to strengthen my muscles back to par. I realized that using the correct tools to take care of myself, to be able walk about the rest of my life (I'm 66 years old), was far more cool.

must-have for anyone who wants to feel like a superhero

The HurryCane is a miraculous device. It can help you walk, stand, and even make you feel taller than a giraffe with a top hat. As I strolled down the street with my new HurryCane, I felt like a king. People stopped and stared, not because I was a handsome devil, but because my cane was cooler than a polar bear's toenails. This cane is so sturdy, it could withstand a stampede of elephants. And it's so light, it's like carrying a feather on a stick. I even tried using it to fish, and let me tell you, it's the perfect fishing rod for catching the big one. But be warned, if you're not careful, the HurryCane can turn you into a daredevil. I found myself racing down the street, dodging obstacles like a ninja. I even challenged my neighbor to a race, and let's just say, the HurryCane won by a landslide. Overall, the HurryCane is a must-have for anyone who wants to feel like a superhero. Just don't blame me if you start jumping off rooftops and swinging from buildings. That's not the HurryCane's fault, that's just your inner Spider-Man coming out.

Do you really Need It

Had reason to temporarily need a cane, someone mentioned the Hurrycane was decently made so I decided to give it a try. One of the biggest reasons I decided to try this cane is because it states it can stand alone. In reality because it has just three feet it falls over far too easily. The fact that the base foot tilts as you walk is a pretty cool idea and it does work. It is sturdy but be careful as that tilting foot can come unscrewed, luckily I noticed that before it fell off. Once I tightened it I haven't had another issue with that. The handle is fairly comfortable but for me it would be better if it were a durable foam as opposed to the hard material it is made of. When the cane arrived fresh out of the box the snap on the strap that holds it together when it's folded up was broken. If I were to buy another Cane with a tilting foot I would get one with four feet in hopes it would stand better on its own. Knowing what I know now and because the use was temporary I should have saved money and bought a standard cane. I got the chance to use a standard cane and for me it was just as simple to walk with. Hope this helps you make an informed decision!

Sturdy

I use it everyday as I rebuild the strength in my legs and joints. I like that it stands on it's own and is very sturdy. This is the 2nd one I've owned. The first one mysteriously disappeared. It's great that it folds up and takes up little room. Would definitely recommend to anyone using a regular cane.

Fantastic!

I have one of these myself, thus one I purchased for my Mother after she left her old cane, that did not fold up, in her shopping cart. When she received this cane and used it, she was very happy! She loved that it stands on its own, that it folds up and fits in her hand bag. F you or someone you know needs a cane, purchase one of these for them, they will love you for it!

Sturdy and reliable for a stroke patient

Bought this foldable cane and 2 others in other colors for a friend who had a very very bad stroke, but managed to work his way back to being able to walk a quarter mile, albeit slowly. I remember the adverts for hurrycanes back 15+ years ago, and I have to say that they are all they advertise to be. They fold down easily, they stand by themselves (but of course will tip if pushed), and they support the weight of at least a medium sized man. He was able to get himself on and off airplanes, cruise ships, in and out of stores, and walk the neighborhood thanks to these babies.

Good cane for basic walking.

This cane has been Dependable. Even though some reviews mention that it is unsturdy due to it's folding ability, I did not find that to be the case at all. The multiple feet add to that stability. By no means does this replace any kind of walker, but as a walking cane, itd is sturdy and dependable. Buy the way I am 67 years old and weigh 260 lbs.

My old cane has seen better days, so it was time for a upgrade. I saw this one advertised on TV , so I thought I would give it a shot. It arrived on time and it was easy to setup. It works as it should and can easily handle my weight 215lbs . The only thing I don’t like is the handle . It’s more suited for a elderly woman with small hands..Not a 200 lbs plus guy . I did measure the length of both handles and the are the same . But the HurryCane’s has a section that extends about two inches past the cane
