Pins always aligned!

I never would have guessed how having your pins aligned with heads out and points in would be such a time saver! I just don't think I ever gave it a thought until I saw this demonstrated somewhere and I thought it a unique gift. I always used to struggle with the pins in a box while pinning patterns to fabric just like many sewers do. After getting this all set up, I continued to "not look" when I grabbed for a pin to use and was happy that I received no pin sticks and I worked much faster!! The disk is heavy and won't move around and when aiming pins at it I just toss them point side first and they always land correctly Who knew!! I would think this would be handy for other applications like screws, nuts and bolts. I had to deduct 1 star due to the fact you can't cover it and put it away.

It works as promised

It is an awkward size when you pick it up. But the pins do fall with the sharp point pointing in.

Best Magnetic stick pin holder ever!

The best thing about it is that it moves the pins out so that they stick out over the edge making them so much easier to grab when you are pinning patterns or quilt pieces together. Just drop them point down and they arrange around the outer edges of the Magnetic organizer, so much better than my Grabbit. I can ever wave it bottom down over the floor and it will find dropped pins for me, the magnet is that strong. I had to buy a second one for my second sewing machine so that I don't have to keep moving it around. So I have a Pink and a Lime green.

Good but not for flat head pins.

Does not work as well with lighter weight pins with flat head. Heavier pins with small round tops work fantastic.
