Definitely not white more of a sand or beige color
Would be nice if it had a screen to keep yellow jackets out, but i was able to fabricate one. If it last 12 years like the one that it's replacing i will be a happy camper. It would also be nice to find one made of aluminum. The low ratings I gave are because it's made of plastic.

Works as expected/replaced same one that got brittle.
I was glad to find the one I needed to directly replace the old one that broke from getting brittle over the years. I expect this one will do the same as it seems to be made of the same plastic. I am a little let down it does Not come with new screws. I had to reuse the old rusty ones which don't look nice. You should also be aware to have the putty tape for installation, but since it remains pliable, you can maybe carefully reuse the old tape, but I recommend new for complete coverage and time management. All in all, it's what I expected and was a simple replacement.

Exactly what we wanted
We could not find this in any of our local stores, including Home Depot and Lowes. We ordered it through Amazon and received it fast. It was exactly what we wanted to replace our old one that was very worn.

Update your product description. No screws are provided.
The vent is the exact replacement needed however there were no screws provided as stated in the product description. I had to supply my own screws. That's why I rated a 1 star on easy to install.

Perfect fit
Perfect fit and very easy to reinstall. Same plastic material as old one so time in the sun will eventually make it brittle

Great louvered vent for the price.
Used this as the exterior cover for a hole cut into basement door to vent portable A/C exhaust. Happily it is the exact rectangular size of the oval vent, (yes, an oval does fit into a rectangle :). To install this on my exterior of the door, I had to remove the deep flange on the reverse side of the vent so it would mount flush. Removal can be done a number of ways but all methods will require pysically cutting the flange off. Fortunately, the plastic is maleable and did not crack in the process. Please note, there is no grill to keeps pests out, only the flap that closes when no exhaust is pushing it open. Two plastic tabs on either side of the flap can be rotated to prevent the flap from opening. The tabs aren't great quality but then neither is the entire assembly. However, for the price, it performs flawlessly.
