Perfect fit, inexpensive repair my stock tank. I tapped the 1/4" opening just to be sure it threaded on nicely as the threads on the arm are old and a little crusty. Threaded on easily and works a treat

Quality of item was inferior

I have kept it only because I needed a replacement. Size was right. My biggest complaint is the item is clearly supposed to be one piece of molded plastic. I do not expect this to hold up and function well since there is a hole at the end of the float. Since this is the opposite end of where it is threaded onto the rod I don’t see how this will not fill with water, making it non functional. It should not have been sent out to a customer with a hole in it since part of your description claims it to be “molded of plastic to prevent water leakage”! I am disappointed in this item.

Great price, product does exactly as needed, but lacks a thread

This was extremely inexpensive - lowest price I could find. Material quality is fine, packaging fine. I would have given 5 stars, but there was no discernible thread to use, which made it rather difficult to screw it on since I couldn't get any purchase into the plastic. Fortunately my 7 year old was able to help hold the metal rod in place. Once on though, it was a solid fit. I would buy again.
