Vacu Vin Elegant Wine Cooler - Preto O Elegant Wine Cooler é uma adaptação da coleção Rapid Ice original da Vacu Vin. cheap-looking plastic, so-so results.

I bought this for my wife's birthday so honestly I was both angry and embarrassed when she pulled it out of the box. It was very cheap-looking plastic. It was dirty-looking around the bottom and looked as if it had been used. I was set to send it batch (I've never returned any product I've purchased here) but the dirt-or dust or whatever it was- wiped off. We put the sleeve in the fridge for the recommended amount of time, installed it and then placed a roon-temp bottle of wine in it. The first thing we noticed that the top quarter of the bottle was sticking out of the sleeve and therefore not getting cold. The ad said it would chill a bottle of wine in 5 minutes. We waited about 10 or 15, I think, The bottom of the bottle was cold to the touch, but the wine was at most "slightly chilled". I was over it, for sure. But my wife liked it and wanted to give it another try. Since then she has used it a couple of more times where she left the bottle in a much longer time. She told me the wine got very cold that time, but as the sleeve began to melt the wine warmed up. First of all if it's going to take 30 minutes to really get cold then we already have something that will do that; it's called our freezer. Second, if it's not going to at least "keep it" cold once it finally gets it cold then for me this is a total bust.

Nice Gift

Easy to use, just pop the insert in the freezer. It doesn't chill the wine as advertised, so you should refrigerate the bottle first. After that, it does keep it chilled

Melts too fast

I purchased this because I am a Brand Ambassador performing wine tastings in stores and often I have to pour a white wine that hadn't been chilled prior to my arrival. The product wad easy to use, attractive, and arrived in a timely manner however Y shifts are 3 hrs long and the ice pack melted before my shift was over. I don't hate it so I'll use anyway but was hoping for more.

Keeps wine chilled

Keeps wine chilled. Plastic outer shell gives it a cheap vibe. Once in the container you have to pour with entire container which can be awkward. Bottle doesn’t come out of container easily to our like a standard chiller.

Great chiller

We recently bought this chiller to keep our white and rose bottles chilled while drinking. And we have found it very useful and easy to use. Keeps the bottle well chilled. Do not have to deal with melting ice. Love it so far. And good value for money.

Perfect for when I don't have a bottle in the fridge!

I really like this chiller. My favorite feature is that the whole thing doesn't have to go in the freezer, just the ice ring so it doesn't take up a ton of space. The shell is pretty strong plastic, so it's light but sturdy. It's perfect for when I forget to put a bottle in the fridge.

Love the fasting cooling and no sweat design

I don't have a wine cooler but I like to drink my wine at the correct temperature. My wines are all store room temp so whenever there is a party I chill them ahead of time. There are MANY MANY times where I just wanted to sip a glass without waiting 20-30 for it to get to ideal temperature. I have tried cooling rocks, sticks, ice bucket, freezer... none of them works fast enough or consistence enough. This sleeve is sooooooo easy to use and doesn't use much space in the freezer. It also cools my Cab to 62F from 74 in about 5 mins less. Pinor is about 10. When you put it in the black plastic holder, it doesn't sweat and looks quite elegant. I also use it to hold my champagne and whites to keep it cold. Only small problem is Pinor fits a little tighter than cab due to the shape of the sleeve. I have one time it didnt even fit cause it was somewhat odd shape. It is not meant to fit all. This is God sent. I am getting for all wine drinkers in my life.

best wine cooler

Saw one of these in use in a pub in the Culag Hotel in Scotland. It was really great. Wine was kept ice cold and there was no melting and dripping off the bottle. Looked them up and bought 2 when I got home.

Handy little widget that cools wine well.

Picked up the freezable cooler along with the cover / bottle holder for a couple of quid more. Have used the freezable wine cooler in the past with great success to quickly chill wine bottles or keep them cool for picnics etc. Also works reasonably well on a can of beer. The plastic bottle cooler cover is solid enough and has a nice matte finish. It doesn’t look cheap but nor does it feel / appear premium. The cover is by no means essential but it does look better than the bare cooler on the wine bottle and, handily, it stops the condensation dripping down the bottle onto the table. Easy to use (bottom twists off easily and you pop the chilled sleeve in), possibly too tight for broader sparkling wine bottles (I’ve not tried though). All in all it seems a good little buy for the cash.

Good, But Doesn’t Chill By Itself

I bought this for my Mom for Christmas, and we have used it a couple times since then. There’s an ice pack inside that you need to chill first before placing wine in the holder. I guess it makes sense, but it was a little disappointing to discover prep is needed and the holder can’t chill on its own. Still, it does the job and Mama likes!

Great product

Saw one of these in a pub whilst on holiday and immediately bought one and had it delivered to Amazon locker at home. Really simple idea and works very well. Have since bought an extra cooling sleeve!

Super pratique

J’ai osé commander une boîte déjà ouverte pour une fraction du prix et le produit n’a aucun défaut, comme neuf ! Très pratique et chic, malgré le côté très « plastique ». Semble assez robuste.
