I was little confused with their sizes on Amazon, M came size 7-8 which was perfect for my 7 y.o. Material is soft, but sturdy, looks dressy. Blue color is very nice shade of blue.

Fabric 100% cotton, is of high quality. Perfect fit, weight and they wash nicely. If you dry these on a high heat, yes of course they may shrink. Mine have been washed a few times and they look and wear perfectly.
