PERFECT!!

My 8 3/8” cast iron skillet needed a lid and I didn’t want a cast iron one. Took a chance on this Lodge and it fits perfect tho it is not a lodge. So pleased!

A Lid for Lodge 8 inch Cast Iron Skillet

I acquired this lid just fairly recently and was glad to find it since my 8inch Lodge skillet is the one I use most often. I kinda remember looking for a lid for that skillet some time ago, and couldn’t find one, so I don’t know if this is a new item at Amazon, or if I just missed it earlier. Anyway, it’s the same as the lid I have for my larger skillet (just smaller obviously) and it fits well. I noted that it was made in China (for whatever that’s worth) but it’s what I was looking for and it serves me well.

Bit too small for 8 inch Cuisinart skillet

Cuisinart doesn’t seem to make covers for their 8 inch skillet, so I gave this one a shot. Just a bit too small, but it doesn’t fall into the skillet, so I’ll keep it. Good quality lid. Fair price.

Fits more than just Lodge

This is great and fits all my 8in pans. Stainless and cast iron included. I like the silicon handle because it has never been to hot for me to use.

I returned this item because it was slightly smaller than the pan I need it to cover. Otherwise it would have been great.

Works perfectly on any 8" pot

Bought for the 8" Lodge cast iron fry pan, but was pleasantly surprised that it also works on my 8" (different brand) sauce pot. I guess 8" is a fairly standard size for pots and pans? Anyway, really love it.

So happy with this

This prevents the meat fat from splashing everywhere and all the steam goes back into the meat and cooks the inside while the outside is being seared.
