Beautiful buy it

Saw these on a popular website for more money, saved some money here. No regrets these are so pretty. Nice and heavy. Mine was more tan but I love it just the same. Buy it, you won’t regret it

Beautiful and heavy, but a tad unstable

These bookends are very beautiful and a super heavy solid piece. However when you stand them up on their side as intended the edge is only 1 1/2 inches wide, with no traction so the edges don't support the sheer weight of them too well on their own let alone if you have a good amount of book weight leaning against them. They will slide away from the book stack or fall over. I am still deciding on the new place to put them as I had needed them for a large row of books but they aren't working for that. I think I may use some traction adhesive on one side so I can see if they stay put. If I don't put a lot of weight on them they look really nice on my shelves, and can do well with just a few books in-between them.

Unusual

These are interesting bookends. The color is hard to describe - sort of a greige - and the marbling on each is a little different. They can be used either laying flat or standing upright, and there doesn't seem to be a top and bottom side. They don't have any kind of pads on any side, but won't scratch the surface they're sitting on. Overall, they're nice; a little odd, but great if you have the right spot for them.

Sturdy and stylish

These marble bookends are lovey pieces for a library. It would be nice if they had more of a design, though a simple design like they have is also elegant. They are quite heavy, and would make a useful housewarming party for any home library.

Stylish but practical and handy. Heavy. Substantial. Impressed.

I love these bookends. They are so classy and useful. I’ve already been moving them around, they are a very multipurpose piece to style and play with if you enjoy reading and/or home decor. I was impressed at how HEAVY and thick and substantial they are. They arrived in perfect shape and were packaged really well to prevent breakage and they were in styrofoam and not touching at all. They look awesome when used with my books that I’m actively reading or just staged to hold some old books that I use simply as decor. They can sort of turn any flat surface into an instant “bookshelf” area and make it look very purposeful and styled. They are heavy enough that you can also use them in a variety of ways and the books stay put (laying down, sideways, forward facing, etc.) I’d say they are well worth it for the weight and feel of them. I’d consider getting more as gift items, especially paired with a book or something like that. Overall I’d recommend them.

Heavy and Well Crafted

Two solid natural marble bookends stand vertically or horizontally to separate books or serve as a pedestal for vases or small figurines. The material received was not precisely color-matched; one bookend was more creamy-white and the other more tan, however both were smoothly finished to match in size and shape. I am impressed with the look and weight of these. Can be used pushing into each other or a shelf.

The media could not be loaded. Each of these looks different from one another in a natural way of which I am much appreciative. These look nice on a shelf and can work well as intended alone pressing against a grouping of books, or, against the opposite side of a shelf. At issue is...I keep feeling these can be used for something else. They look and are shaped like they belong as a component to something and in an odd enough way I wish there were more items that matched this, like a vase - or even makes me think about planting an inkwell on it and using it to dip a quill.

Nice Marble Bookends

These are like most marble items, pretty heavy for their size. I like the look of them and the color is neutral (gray/beige) with some nice marbling. The cut of the stone is smooth and without defect. They are also true to the stated size. The shape is very nice for a bookend and works very well. I like them very much on my bookshelf!
