Good value

I purchased two of these. After using them for several months I’m very satisfied with them. They’re great for keeping all of the plates in order and up off the floor. Of the two racks I received, one of them wouldn’t sit flat on the floor, as a few reviewers have mentioned. However, once it was loaded with plates it hasn’t wobbled at all, so it hasn’t been an issue. Overall the rack performs well for its low price. If I were to do it over, though, I’d probably buy the rack with one-inch pegs. The two-inch pegs require using both hands to pull a plate off the pins, even the small plates.

Not all weights fits

The plate stand is perfect, but it didnt fit my Fray Fitness bumper plates. The plate holders a bit too big. My CAP plates fits perfect with no problem. So anyone thinking of buying this for their CAP plates do it. Keeps my weights off the floor for a good price.

Meh. Save your money and invest in Rogue

Meh. I put this together and wouldn’t ya know that a Cap Barbell product wouldn’t be flat! Once assembled, the legs are off and cause the tree to wobble. I added heavy duty casters to a) make it easier to move (not so easy since this doesn’t resell very study) and b) to hopefully correct the slight difference in the legs so they wouldn’t wobble. I’ll still need to shim the one side rang is off to make it work. Oh well. It works I suppose. I don’t know that I’d recommend though as it doesn’t feel sturdy.

Nice plate tree.

As you can tell from my pics. I’m bout that weight room life. The Cap tree replaced a TSA plate tree that finally had enough. It was loaded with 550lbs on it. And I added one more 35 and she wasn’t having it. It snapped into two pieces. The Cap is sturdy and super easy to put together. Shipping was fast: just a good all around plate tree. Not saying the TSA tree was bad. I just grossly over weighted it. All in all the cap tree is a winner.

A bit wobbly, but otherwise okay.

When we first assembled this, it wobbled back and forth on a diagonal axis across the legs. I thought maybe I tightened one side too tight when assembling, so we disassembled it a little to retighten it more evenly. Didn't help. Looked like one of the feed was a bit crooked, but not quite. We tried using a rubber mallet to straighten it, which didn't work. So it came that way from the manufacturer. But it otherwise works, and seems to be fine once you have an actual plate set on it.

Not level…

The media could not be loaded. Simple to assemble - it has only 4x bolts. It holds all of my plates (295 lbs). HOWEVER, it is not level. Not what you would expect from a product meant to hold so much…
