My kid loves these

I have a 14 y/o skinny minny goalie and these help him a lot. He will dive for anything and these save his hips every game. Definitely worth it if you have a GK in your life. They fit fine under his uniform and he has not complained about them once. That’s saying something!! He is 5’10” 125-130lbs

Lots of padding, Very nicely made

The list price for these is steep, but if you plan to slam your body on a concrete floor covered in a veneer of turf, the undiscounted price might still be worth it. I was excited to find three pairs of Amazon warehouse deal-priced shorts, and they were in excellent condition for about 85% off. If you get a chance to buy them at discount, snatch them up. Sizing-wise, I bought these for a female 115 lb GK, who (for comparison) wears Adidas Tiro pants in size youth large and wears size 2 or 3 in street clothes. These shorts come with a drawstring inside the waistband. When worn under Adidas Tiro pants, they don’t look bulky. I cannot imagine a higher quality garment. Highly recommend!

Paintball - I'll be wearing these for now on

If you are paintball player and searching for a pair of slider shorts but don't want cheap quality , these are for you. I wear planet eclipse hde camo pants with these and BARELY feel them. I love to slide hard and dive in bunkers the terrain we play is rough with compact dirt and rocks here and there

Super Comfortable and Great

Was in desperate need for some padded shorts and these literally saved my legs. I wore compression shorts for my first game and boy did I pay the price. These don't ride up and provide great protection. I am 5'3 and weigh about 130. I went for a size Small and they fit perfectly.

Great hip protection for dives

I got these for my son (13 years old) when he became his travel teams full time goalkeeper. He would always complain about hip pain after dives and these have really saved him from more pain. The padding is thick enough for great protection but not so thick that it slows him down or hinders movement. They are a little big on him (got him adult medium he’s 5’3” and 125lbs) but he will grow into them by the spring. You can’t even tell when he has them on!

My son needed these for playing volleyball. He is a libero and has to dive often. These have offered great protection for his hips as he dives for balls.

Keepers best friend.

These are the best things since sliced bread. My son is a keeper in futsal and these have made all the difference in his play since the padding helps when he dives for the ball. He wanted me to give the highest rating possible. Definitely recommend..

Seems bulky at first but unnoticeable when playing with it.

Amazing product. I went from playing on turf to uneven, hard grass. It hurt alot after I dove. Put these on and now im back to diving like normal, and I think I can dive further because I don't have to think twice about the impact. It feel alittle bulky at first but seamless when you play with it. I actually think it helps "glide" unlike typical under armour that causes friction between you and the ground on low dives.

Version 2 is worse than the original

Unfortunately, Storelli took a major step backwards with these. Having owned the original, I was able to see just how many "shortcuts" they made here in order to make these cheaper to produce. First of all, these goalie undershorts have noticeably LESS padding than the originals did, meaning you're getting less protection than you did with the originals, especially when playing on bad surfaces. Secondly, to make things worse, the padding is also thinner than the originals which were nice and thick. My third gripe with these is also that the waistband isn't even used here to keep these pants in place, but rather laces that you need to tie. I don't understand why they went with this route, as the laces just don't give you the same satisfaction as a good waistband did. If anything, it does a lesser job and even can see your undershirt start to ride up on you because of it. Overall: The version 2 Storelli GK undershorts/sliders are a major downgrade from the originals. They're fine if you don't have anything else, but after wearing the originals, it's almost impossible for me to like these.
