Takes longer than instructed

My little girl loved this. I pretty much gave up on thinking it was going to grow crystals. Instruction say 12 hours. Took like 5 days before we seen anything. And then they grew right out of the lid. Broke off very easily when my daughter touched them. It's worth seeing the excitment on a little one's face knowing they grew something lol.

Disappointed.

Super cute idea and my daughter loved putting together (other than the tiny figurines not wanting to stay "standing") then watching and waiting (and waiting...and waiting) for the "tree" to grow. The instructions said it would start growing within hours and should be full in 12 hours. Well, at 12 hours, there was no "leaves". 24 hours, still none. 48 hours, still none (at this point I figured it wasn't going to happen, but we still had a good time setting it up so, whatever). The next day (day 3) we were surprised to find that 1/2 the tree had grown. But that's it. Only half and no more since (its been about 2 weeks since we did it). So while the idea is cute and we had fun until we realized it was not what was described, the terrarium was a flop. I had a disappointed little girl.

Cute and easy activity!

My first grader loved this kit and enjoyed checking on the progress all day long as her magic tree was growing. It has been about a month and it still looks great!

Fun and quick experiment

Works great when you follow the directions. Be sure to leave the lid off for the first day and watch the magic unfold.

Followed directions and didn’t work. It’s been a long time and not even one crystal it on it.

Fell apart

It was easy to assemble but while the tree was growing the “leaves” started falling of in huge chunks. While it did regrow the bottom and decorations are covered in the stuff.????????☹️

So far it’s not working

It’s been almost 24 hours and we don’t have any crystals. The directions did not specify temperature of the water and the water line marking is not clear. I hope it works within a few days like many other said theirs did. It is advertised as working in 12 hours. My kids are disappointed.
