Bought to repair
Product was a lot lighter in color than my existing mortar. Had a hard time dispensing out if the tube, kinda messy. But, it does appear to be holding the loose bricks though…

Mortar Repair
Large and small cracks or spaces in the mortar of my brick home- probably from the house settling- I used this product to fill those cracks! It worked fine- easy to apply! My concern was with the color- I ordered limestone- my mortar is between a limestone and a light beige color- so the limestone color is off- but I used it anyway. I would like to see a color chart in the advertising of all the colors available - it would take the guess work out of ordering the right color- Thx

Works as I needed
Used this to replace the coping on my pool that originally was plastic and had deteriorated over the years and this material is rated for exposure, it blends well with the pool deck. Time will tell if it was the best decision.

Not for novices
I'm a novice at repairing mortar. I first tried a different brand that was easy to apply, but it was way too liquid-y. Then, I tried the Sikaflex and couldn't get it to come out of the container. I followed the instructions and punctured the seal as well as cut off the tip at the appropriate spot. It was almost impossible to get the product out of the tube. I can't tell if I'm just too weak, but I had a stronger friend also try and he had difficulty too. I was trying to fix a small gap that had developed between my house and my concrete walkway. Perhaps I purchased the wrong product, but after watching videos, this one seemed to be what I needed. With this product, I can't tell if I am too weak or if I received duds (I purchased 2 tubes). The expiration date was a year from the time I received them, so they weren't expired. My friend didn't think it should be so difficult to get the product out of the tube. I gave up and hired a professional. I wish I knew if the problem was with the product or with my friend and me.

WHAT DOES IT LOOK LIKE ???? (look for videos to learn the technic for a pro finish)
Mix black and white clay together, you get gray clay. That's what this looks like. Dries flexible, like thick rubber. Does not look like sand finish, more like a smooth cement finish. I would not use it for brick without adding sand into the finish. Look for videos on how to install this correctly. (tape edges, apply, press in to smooth, spray soapy water to control to finish etc.) You should also just try one tube to see what you are getting, before buying many tubes. (best product for filling the control joints in patio or sidewalk cracks, again look for videos to learn the technic for a pro finish)

I have used Sika products before and found them to be very good, except for if they have passed there expiry dates. I was shorted one tube of product and it was never sent. This product just flaked off when it dried, I do not recommend this.

Excellent for crack repairs in concrete
I used it to fill some cracks around the house. I Apply the product using a caulking gun and use it specifically around the poured concrete basement. Very easy application
