A satisfactory, fragrance-free dishwashing liquid

For over 40 years I used Dawn dishwashing liquid, and was completely satisfied, and never even thought of changing. But recently they seem to have changed their underlying formula. For me there's a harsh chemical odor, masked by stronger fragrances that — critically for me — can't be rinsed off. I've tried several of their current formulations, and this seems to be the case for all of them. Even the "free and clear" version is only "clear of dyes" but not "free" of fragrance (it has fake lemon over chemical odor). I have friends to say they can't smell these things — but they are unacceptably annoying to me. So I had to look for a replacement. I tried a few, and have settled on this product: Ecover fragrance-free. It is a bit runnier than Dawn, and not quite as agressive a grease cutter, but is perfectly adequate and has done the job every time for me. It is now what I use in the kitchen.

Love this product

This is such a good deal, and we love this product, but the shipping was inexcusable through Amazon. Plus, we received 4 instead of 6 bottles of dish soap, that had leaked along with some type of dirt, as well. It was pretty gross to say the least. We had to return them and everything else (3 or more other items) that was precariously placed unsecured in the box, which caused a lot of time and frustration. I usually never give a bad review, so it has to be pretty bad if I do. I wish there was a section to review the shipping of an item. Like I said in the beginning, we love this product. It lasts so much longer than any other brand we have used and is so affordable. I will say though, Amazon took care of it, and we were reimbursed for all of the products, but again, it was an awful mess to have to go through the return. The customer care person kept trying to dissuade us from returning the sticky, messy bottles of soap, and kept disregarding the fact that we received 4 instead of 6 bottles that is included in this purchase. This all was totally on Amazon shipping and customer service, and not the Grab Green company. However, I will not be buying a quantity of any type of liquid product from/thru Amazon again.

Even works in my hard water

I've tried plant-based eco dishwashing liquids before. Most couldn't handle the grease. This does a great job and it's septic safe. This is important to me as I live on a lake with a lot of beautiful wildlife.

Works great

Using the scent free version and replaced SG with it. Works very well and probably will last longer as it is thicker. SG free had a faint smell and usually the scent became worse towards the end of the bottle. Strange given that they use preservatives. It was the main reason for the switch.

So far so good!

I was worried about ordering these because of the other reviews of them showing up leaking. They arrived perfect! The potential for leaking is possible because there is no plastic on the top and the cover is kind of flimsy. It smells a little like Elmers glue but otherwise fragrance free!

Truly without fragrance

If you want/need a really, truly fragrance free, unscented dish soap, go for this. A lot of products are marked "unscented" but you can still smell something there - I have really tried with this dish soap, out of curiosity, to smell it while cleaning and I cannot smell a single thing of substance in this. Therefore it's great if you have sensitivity to fragrance or prefer without. It does suds up a TON which is good for saving product. I was using Mrs. Meyers before so this took me by surprise but the product seems to work well.

Cleans really well

I was shocked to see the type of chemicals found in other top branded dishwashing liquids and decided to go for a less dangerous product. This liquid cleans as good as any other so-called 'branded'liquids. It lathers really well. There is no fragrance and I am totally fine with it. Value for money and I feel satisfied by the fact that I am not feeding in harmful chemicals to my family that persist on utensils even after they are washed and dried up. I recommend this product to everyone, its good for health and the planet overall. It has good ratings on EWG as well.

Genuinely the best dish soap!

I have purchased and repurchased this brand of dish soap over and over. It’s that good. It cuts through grease so easily, it just works. At an affordable price point as well. Definitely recommend!

Perfect Dish Soap For Sensitive Skin

I love love love this dish soap. There are no store near me that sell this brand, so I love that I can buy it in bulk on Amazon. I have really sensitive skin and this is the only soap I can use without having a reaction.

Lots of suds and really effective

Usually "eco" soaps don't lather or work as well as traditional soaps. Not the case hear. Great scent, really good at cleaning pots and dishes.

good soap but not geranium

Doesnt smell at all of geranium. The scent right out of the bottle is strange but it becomes better as you lather it up. It smells more like orange. It builds a great lather though so overall I am satisfied. Just Look elsewhere if you want geranium aroma.
