Much better than nothing

This thing works when needed. The downside is that the steel handle is a sure-fire blister maker, so you'd better have a good set of gloves to use with it. The tool heads are very good. There is a little bit of play when they are mounted to the handle. This didn't cause trouble, but I could see that it would get annoying if you needed to use a particular tool for a long period of time, particularly the pick, axe or sledge. I have used it several times already for recovery purposes. The storage bag is pretty good, but I'm worried that the zipper will eventually give out. I am glad I have this kit in my truck. The only weak point that I can see is the pin connector. It seems wise to find another one if you can to have a spare on hand. A lost or broken pin would spell doom. Edit: After five years of use, the bag finally gave up the ghost, but all the tools are going strong. I found a new canvas bag to stow the kit into and it is still in my truck. I've used every tool in the kit except the sledge hammer. The short handle on the shovel gets annoying, but hey, it's a shovel in a small kit, so what would you expect? After all these years, I'm really glad to have this thing. We've enjoyed a lot of adventures together!

I beat this stuff up when I am out 4 wheelin & living in las vegas Nevada you need this metal gear, wood on metal tool heads do not work very well & buy an extra pin.
