Very durable build quality, super bright, and very easy to use connectors

I just finished installing over 120 low voltage lights on my property and I placed these lights on my 12'X20' shed. They are almost too bright for my shed and I am considering swapping them out for some smaller 5w lights. Instead I plan to use these to light up the trunks of some 50+ foot tall trees. If you have a two story house these will be perfect, however on my small shed they are almost over powering. The included connectors make it super easy to install these lights. You simply open the connector slide your wire in and then clamp the connector closed. This pushes two small spikes through the insulation and into the conductor of the wire. I am not sold that this is a completely water proof connector, however it is much better than others I have worked with. The build quality of these fixtures is amazing. They are fairly large, with a strong aluminum body and very heavy for their size. The stake that these are attached too is very substantial and even includes a place to step down on. This makes it very easy to insert the spotlight into almost any soil. The spot light also includes a large glare guard which really allows you to point the light where you want it. However this also limits the beam spread of the light, which is why in my picture you can kind of see how narrow the beam is. I think once I place these lights in front of my large trees this beam spread will be perfect. Considering the price of this 4 pack, these are also a fantastic deal. I also installed several all brass fixtures which a single fixture was 3 times the price of this set. The all brass ones were very well built, however I think these give them a good run for the money. If you are looking to just get started with your low voltage lighting I highly recommend these, as they should last many years and are cost effective enough that you can try different configurations. I am very happy with these.

Heavy Duty & Durable

These LED spotlights are priced higher than many competing LED spotlights, but they are more heavy duty and durable feeling than many competing options. While there are certainly nice performing metal spotlights that sell for less that do perform well for their price point, they are noticeably more lightweight than these lights. Also, many LED spotlight sets that are sold on Amazon these days come with less user-friendly connectors that work but are more difficult to work with. The included connectors that come with these lights are much more user friendly. You simply clamp them on to the landscape wire that is providing power. The 3000k light that is produced is bright and attractive. If you are looking for heavy duty LED spotlights that look good and will last, these are worth your consideration.

Heavy Duty!!

I was really surprised that these were Aluminum cast and not plastic. Very durable and will last a long time. We have put them at the entrance of our RV and angled the lights to provide maximum coverage.
