January 2021--Mine Was Fine
I just finished putting mine together and I enjoyed it. There were a few minor tears and bends but they weren't real problems. The pictures on the pieces were as good as on any other puzzle, and the pieces were thick and firm. The pieces fit together well and the shapes were each different enough for placement to be unmistakeable. It's true that the print on the box is almost unreadable in places, but I want to learn where the countries are, not just copy a picture, and the print on the pieces is plenty big enough. So you can just put the countries where you think they go, and learn a lot by what you got right and what doesn't work out. I was way off on Australia and didn't know that North and South Korea were so far north, etc. Now I'll remember for years. For my fellow bean counters who also don't like to assemble large areas of just blank ocean: there were about 41 pieces of blue with no good identifying print or other markings. Even those mostly had (unlabeled except at the edges) latitude/longitude lines to help, and many had lighter and darker areas, for ocean depth I suppose, that carried from one piece to the one next to it, which also helped. Maybe some of the earlier puzzles had quality problems that have now been worked out. The box I received looks a little different from the one in the Amazon ad on February 2021. If you want a good way to learn the countries, I think this puzzle is worth a chance.

You have to take it apart before you can put it together.
A lot of the pieces are stuck together. The pieces are thick, I think in an attempt to make the puzzle sturdy, but in the end, they aren't effectively cut, and separating them causes the pieces to peel apart and layer. Still a fun puzzle, but I wish the pieces were separate to begin with.

Disappointment
I bought this world map to educate myself on the location of countries. Imagine my disappointment when I discovered that there wasn't a printout map to help identify the location of countries, etc. The only thing available was the picture on the puzzle box. I couldn't read the small print even with a magnifying glass. However, I was able to complete the puzzle by remembering most of the locations or by the shape of the puzzle piece. The quality of the puzzle is good, and the colors are wonderful but, it should have a map for a guideline to go by.

That was fun!
Turned out to be the perfect puzzle for my 8 & 9 yr. old granddaughters. The puzzle pieces were just the right size, not too small. As one other reviewer pointed out, I did notice a couple of the pieces might be freying a tad at the edges. Not really serious at this point. We had fun putting it together. I hate the thought of taking it apart ... The puzzle is big: 2'X 3'.

A fun puzzle to put together
My Dad and I put this together, together. We had a great time and learned a lot. The quality of the pieces was quite good--only one had the paper peeling from the cardboard. The print on the box was teensy and on the puzzle was very small but we have magnifying glasses and used those--worked for the puzzle pieces, anyway. One suggestion to the manufacturer--include a big paper map in the box that is a magnification of the puzzle, so it can be referred to as one is working on the puzzle. We referred to another world map we had, but it would have been a lot easier to look at a blown-up version of the map on the box cover. I would buy other puzzles from this manufacturer.

Absurdly poor quality
Ordered for a special needs person to motivate him to learn better the countries of the world. Very very very disappointing that three pieces missing and many pieces missing the "picture" portion, being able to see through to the cardboard backing.

Quality
I received product 20 days after purchase so not great. Noticed quite a few of the pieces not perfect. Like the image was frayed away from underlying cardboard so once we build it we are considering having to glue them down.

Pretty good
Pieces are larger than expected. One piece is unfortunately missing from the edge of the puzzle.
