Keeps the debri from weedeating from hitting my face.

I use this face shield to keep debri from hitting my face. After I finish weedeating I wash the face shield and remove all of the debri stuck to it so I can use it the nest day. It is very helpful in protecting the face and eyes. I still use safety glasses with the shield but sometimes I hear when little pebbles hit the shield and am thankful that they didnt hit my face.

A great buy

The plastic visor is very clear, there is a film on both sides that need to be removed. I wrote that first because of all the reviews that say it is not easy to see through, they did not read the instructions. I had the previous version of this brand for over 20 years, the knob adjustment in the back is a nice upgrade over the peg-and-hole style adjustment.

Do you need a face shield for upclose or arm's length work?

The face shield head gear is great, but the clear shield is slightly out of focus. It does have 2 protective covering film on the lens. A light blue-green color and clear one. Make sure you remove both films first. I have used many different face shields over the last 40+ years and some were poor, some good and some really great. Since, the company paid for the safety gear, I was lucky to get a great face shield because they also bought crappy face shields due to the disposable natural of the work. Here is how you can really tell if the clear shield is poor, good or really great. This test works with people who wear glasses and those who don't. Put the face shield on and look at some printed words with various fonts from 8 thru 14 on it with the face shield up. Focus on the print till it's clear and then put the shield down and look at the same print. If the word's go out of focus, then determine how much out of focus. Unfortunately, this mask shield (S-30120) is slightly out of focus and will cause eye strain if you need to use it for an extended period of time. I do miss the days when you can try on all the masks and pick the ones that matches your needs. Conclusion: Great for grinding or any work where you keep moving your head/eyes but bad if you have to focus at one point for more than a few minutes.

Remember to remove protective film from both sides of the shield

The shield is very clear. I noticed some negative reviews said it was hard to see through and I was hesitate to purchase in the beginning. Glad I take the plunge. The fact is there are protective film on BOTH sides of the shield. One film is with letter printed on it. The other side has a very light blue tint film. Once you remove all the film. The shield is super clear. Value for money.

Handy, cost efficient, great visibility

Note - this product comes with a lens protector on BOTH sides, so you need to peel them both off first before using. Great price and covers my full face + more! I was previously terrified of using the angle grinder with just safety glasses but I feel very safe with this on. This is also great for when I'm doing overhead drywall work. With safety glasses, my face and eyes would still be full of drywall dust, but not with this! Love it.

Muy buena calidad

Me gustó mucho la calidad del protector. La mica muy cristalina (hay que retirar los plasticos que la protegen) y el filo de aluminio le da mucha firmeza. El soporte para la cabeza igual muy solido y de calidad. Todo de plastico pero de muy buena calidad. Se siente muy firme y te protege bien toda la cara. Muy recomendable.

Plastic Film protecting the shield is not obvious

Overall, it was acceptable as a face shield, it flared out on the sides a bit but that was the design of the helmet and how the shield fit with it (acceptable); there were two plastic films protecting the shield - one is easy to take off (the one with words) the other plastic film was more difficult to remove - if you don't remove it the shield is blueish blur - you need to pick at it otherwise it will not peel off. Better instructions needed on the removal of the plastic film covering the shield or at least make it more obvious that the other plastic film is meant to be removed. Comfort level of the helmet is okay ; the shield covers the front and side of the head.

Decent cheap protection

I got this for Covid protection because I have an essential job where it's hard to keep physical distance all the time. This is a reasonable solution. I wish I'd gotten both the two remaining ones when you could still buy them. So comfortable I forget I'm wearing it sometimes. But tighten the screws at the temples, they came a little loose and one of them spontaneously popped off, spraying the mechanism everywhere and I had to find everything and put it back on. Also the plexiglass marks up a bit too easily. Replacement helmets and plexi may also be an issue, Amazon has restricted sale of a variety of face protection so if my plexi gets too marked up I can't replace it. Hey Amazon, this isn't a medical mask.
