Ease of use

This allows me to anchor easily when I'm on the water by myself.

Good anchor line control.

I installed on my 14’ Alumacraft. I put it in line with the anchor keeper that was on the boat. The pulley doesn’t turn but I think the nylon rope will slide just fine.

No more tying

I use this in my 14 foot aluminum boat. I used to have to drop anchor and tie off. If your like me who likes to fish alone and every second you don't have a line in the water counts. With this you simply pull back drop the anchor and fish. Would recommend a small bucket to wind the excess rope into though.

Love this, it works great

We are very pleased with how this works. Nothing is worse then pulling up a wet rope that has been hanging in the water. Using this helps when I put the anchor in the water it has a stopper on it like a brake. Also when I pull up the rope from the water it makes so I don’t have all kinds of wet rope slapping all around on me. It pulls in nice and easy and neat. I am so glad I bought this for our boat. Buy one you won’t regret it. It is nice and sturdy. The only thing I would suggest is make the wheel a little taller and the groove deeper so the rope doesn’t slip over it when it is diagonal.

John boat anchor mount

I used 5lb anchors and this product works awsome. Being on small boat with out needing to move around to drop anchors. Easy to mount to the boat

Only 2 places to mount on a canoe

Very well made and works great. My only suggestion would be to remove the front underneath screw flap. This would allow for side placement as well as front and rear.

Worked better than expected

I don't have anything bad to say about these yet, they did not come with installation hardware. They did have predrilled holes. but I can work the anchors on my Jon Boat forward and aft without leaving my seat. That makes me happy.

Tiens bien ma chaloupe de 16 pieds avec l’ancre de 20 lbs dans les forts courants du fleuve (4mph). J’ai mis 4 étoiles car la poulie est en plastique et je doute de la durabilité.

I've also got the Scotty plastic type and this one works very well. The location to mount it required the shorter size.

Good quality.

Just got it but won't be able to install until spring time. Looks good and solid enough for a 14 foot fishing boat with 10 pound ancor. It's not big so easy to mount on front of small boat.
