Works as described

Used it on an obsolete Weller gun and it works perfectly. The only thing different is that I had to bend the ends to fit securely.

Worked on old 8100

I have an ancient Weller 8100 that uses the bent end tips. These work by moving the nuts off the old tip and putting a small 90degree bend on the end of the tip leads. Works perfectly.

Careful

Be careful when ordering. A similar model which I needed had nuts attached because the ends are bent. I bent these ends to make it work but not the correct model. Make sure you have the correct model.

About time I replaced the tip of my soldering gun!

It was a bit tricky to know if this was the right tip as my gun is about 8 generations old, but it was the right wattage (critical) and seemed to be the right shape. It was. Easy enough to bend the ends to fit the nuts of the gun, and it now heats up much faster. And I have a spare tip for about 20 years from now!
