Super flash even brighter

I have had battery-operated superflash taillights for decades. Unfortunately one separated from the “hook” part of the attachment and ended up in the snow somewhere (after a couple decades of good use). I decided to go for the USB version to replace it. I love all the flash patterns and looking in my rear view mirror and seeing bright red light reflect off of snow and stop signs a block or two behind me. The only negative is that the on/off button is hard to press with winter gloves on.

Great

Mounted it on the back of the book/cargo rack. Only ride 1.1 mile to work and use it on Superflash mode. Battery lasts a long time.

Good budget option for night rides. Great flash mode.

If you need a taillight bright enough in solid mode for foggy/rainy daytime riding, this is probably not the taillight for you. I used the old AAA powered Superflash for many years and it was good enough for my type of riding. Mostly unlit trails. Some city riding. I always used the flash mode which is very attention grabbing. Rain, fog, snow, whatever. Solid mode is still good on a clear night, but not for low visibility daytime conditions. The old Superflash had a tendency to pop off when riding over bumps. Also had a flimsy switch. This model has built-in batteries which means it's one solid unit that wont fall apart. The switch is improved as well. I don't think it's really any brighter than the old one. Cosmetically it is improved from the old model due to the black plastic housing. White plastic looks grungy after a while. I still consider the Superflash to be a good value for the money.

Solid and Attractive

The light seems less bright than some of my other LED tail lights, but on the other hand, it lasts a lot longer on a charge than they do. I have the matching bracket for my back rack and it clicks solidly right in there and feels and looks like it's built into the bike. I like that. It's very clean and solid looking. As part of an overall visibility strategy, I think this is a god addition.

Bright daytime flash

I liked the first one so much that this is my second superflash purchase so I don't have to move the other one from bike to bike. The light gives a very bright daytime flash for high visibility and has a long battery life between recharges. Highly recommended!

Good light

Not much to say! Very bright, very reliable, easy to use. Clips into the mounting hardware, or just straight onto a bag or belt loop. I've had an older battery-powered version of this for probably 15 years. I don't know if the rechargeable battery will last that long, but I'll be happy to buy another one if I need to.

Well made - perfect for commuting

I like it’s ease of setup etc. It goes from blinking to solid light when I brake.
