I don't have dentures, but following the advice of Mary Hunt, in her free daily email newsletter, "Everyday Cheapskate," I use 3 tablets for toilet ring dissolving and prevention.

I like everything. Have them on subscribe and save too Toss the tablet in with my dentures at night. In the morning, just rinse and ready to go. Sometimes I use two tablets.

Super whitening, however drawbacks for my use

I use this product to clean my bite guard, which is quite yellowed, and I was thinking it would help it return to a crystal clear color. Well, not exactly. It's performing exactly how it is intended--that's to say it gets in every bite mark and crevice where i've chewed that thing to death and turns it bright white, but the rest remains slightly brownish. So it just looks disgusting haha! However, as a denture cleaner, I'm sure it's wonderful for whitening actual white porcelain, as getting in the cracks or crazing of that material would be beneficial. My other issue with this versus the regular denture cleaner is that I have to really, really brush this stuff hard with my toothbrush and toothpaste afterwards to get the taste off of it. Again, it's because it works SO well that it gets in and under all the little dents in my bite guard and is hard to get out. So in conclusion--an excellent product for dentures, but if you are looking for an inexpensive retainer or bite guard cleaner, the regular formula is perfectly fine and actually my preference.

Great for Partial

Works great for partial/flipper. Keeps everything clean, sanitized, and fresh. Really can't go wrong with this product. You get what is expected and you get quite a bit of them for the price. Pretty good deal.

Introduction: I remove my dentures in the evening and let them soak overnight in water after placing a denture cleanser tablet in the mix. Efferdent is my go-to brand. In the past I have used Efferdent's Denture Cleanser Tablets - Complete Clean, which provided good results. This time I decided to try Efferdent PM Denture Cleanser Tablets - Overnight Whitening to see what difference there is between the two tablet products. Pros: The Efferdent PM Denture Cleanser Tablets - Overnight Whitening works as good as the Efferdent's Denture Cleanser Tablets - Complete Clean. I did not notice any difference in the dentures, having used the Efferdent PM Denture Cleanser Tablets - Overnight Whitening for one month. Cons: The Efferdent PM Denture Cleanser Tablets - Overnight Whitening costs more per tablet than the Efferdent's Denture Cleanser Tablets - Complete Clean. Misc.: I have been using Efferdent Denture Cleanser Tablets for approximately 50 years. I have tried other brands in the past and settled on the Efferdent brand. Conclusion: for the cost-conscious, I recommend the Efferdent's Denture Cleanser Tablets - Complete Clean given that the two products appear to provide the same degree of cleaning. Other than that, I would recommend the Efferdent PM Denture Cleanser Tablets - Overnight Whitening tablets.

Works as advertised

Got this after my elderly Mother asked me to find something for stains on her dentures as they were getting pretty grungy using regular Efferdent and generic Efferdent as well. I was not expecting much but these are actually whitening and removing basically all the staining that had developed over the past few years. Mom is very proud to have very white, stain free teeth again and at 86-years-old and a multi-stroke survivor, she needs a few joys she can experience in life now.
