Great pads for the price

I finally received the correct pads required for the Hayes Carbon Nine. Great stopping power with no squeal whatsoever on 180mm rotors I purchased as well!

Howled like a banshee - Organics are supposed to be quieter!

Installed these after thoroughly cleaning the rotor. These were to replace metallic pads that squealed a bit too much on hard braking. I bedded them in properly as per online instructions (repeated moderate almost stops). These pads then squealed even on the moderate braking. I could even push the bike forward while sitting on it with the front brake fully engaged. I took them out and they were shiny glazed over! Into the garbage they went. maybe mine were defective, but I would not recommend these pads. On the plus side Amazon gave me a prompt refund. I then replaced them with SwissStop Disc-15 resin pads, used the same bedding in procedure - they stop like crazy and are quiet so far.

Poor spring retention design

Had to throw these away before using because the retention springs were off the pads when I removed them from the packaging. The springs are too short to 'hold' the pads securely and almost impossible to re-attach once they are off. It was too risky for me to use in a braking system when I seen their build quality.

Missing clips!

Not as described The photo on amazon shows there are the little clips attached to the brake pads. The product delivered does not include the clips

3 pads for one side and 1 pad for other.

I received Brake pads in timely manner but one package did not have a right left set it had 2 of the same side. So know I have one pad that could not be used and I had to use one of the old existing pads to get me by.

Does not match photo.

Pads did not match the photo description. Ordered pads with cooling fins but pads without cooling fins arrived. Still work but not what I expected.
