Workhorse Metal Polish

I use a lot of aluminum in my furniture designs, and I prefer the finish this polish delivers. I found an old weathered 3' aluminum step ladder at a thrift store that look terrible but it hardly had a scratch on it. With a little elbow grease and Flitz polish the ladder is so brilliantly polished, I use it as my brief case stand in my home office. It makes a statement. Recommend. (Above: a vintage Pottery Barn steel vase. $3.99 at the thrift store and polished with Flitz.)

Worked Like a Charm on My Dobro

Bought this polish after becoming horrified at the condition of my dobro's cone plate when it came out of storage, where it spent a few years untouched. It took quite a bit of scrubbing, but once the job was done the surface was as good as new. These little tubes of Flitz have hands-down earned a permanent home in my instrument maintenance toolbox!

All you need is Elbow Grease!

The answers to my questions were very helpful. Wait 2 minutes before polishing, may take several applications to fully clean up. Bought vintage colander and it is beginning to shine. Good product, for a job like this colander it will take several rounds to make it shine but I'm completely happy with the product.

Best metal polish on the market

I’ve been using this product for decades. Works wonders on all types of metal. From making firearms clean and shining, to smoothing out surfaces such as slides, making a finicky 1911 slide as smooth as silk.

Works amazingly

I bought this specifically to shine up my 10 year old rings. I had the carbon fiber one first and got the Koa wood ring on my honeymoon. For a couple years I was only wearing the wood ring on special occasions but the CF ring was so beat up I switched to only my wood ring. 10 years in, the wood ring was finally looking almost as bad as the other one. With a microfiber cloth and with a lot of time and elbow grease I kinda got it looking better. Then out came the Dremel and a polishing pad, and now they look as good as new after a few minutes a piece. I didn't think to get any before pictures but they weren't nearly this shiny before

Works great..!...BUT......see review

I've been using FLITZ for years....works great......BUT.....be careful.....depending on the material you use it on it MAY discolor the material......test a small area first to see if there is staining....MOST will be fine but be on the safe side and test first......otherwise it works....follow the directions....

Works on Nickel & Chrome plating on old shotguns! Brought back the original luster/finish.....Gr8 Not sure how long it will last thou.... just need to keep the surfaces clean and lubricated...!

Very good at polishing resin

I use this to polish resin jewellery after wet sanding it. Used with a micro fibre cloth and a bit of elbow grease, it brings up a fantastic glass like shine on the resin. It does have a very strong smell, so would advise to always use in well ventilated areas.

I was recommended this for cleaning some brass parts of my guitar. It's not cheap, but it is really good.
