Great value, great price
This is a great price, half of what they charge at the big box orange store. Yes, the tube is stiff and not the easiest to work with, so the key thing is to heat up the tips before installing. One option is to use heat gun (I do not own), so I poured hot water in a ceramic mug to warm up the tips.

Stiff but strong
Not my favorite hose, hard to get over the drip nipple without breaking it. But once on they are on even the weed whackers don’t knock them off. Pretty springy until the sun relaxes them too.

Works great!
I needed more of this tubing and it fits perfectly and works great.

Quality product at a great price.
I cannot tell the difference between this tubing and the stuff I bought at the big box lumber stores.

Technically quarter inch but not usable
Unfortunately I installed the tubing before trying it out to see if it worked. A few minutes in the sun release the tight coil into a straight line. After the tubing was tacked down it was time to install the fittings at intervals. The tubing was so hard and inflexible the fittings would not stay in the tubing. The process of pushing the fittings stretched the stiff tubing and there was no spring to hold the fittings.

Is this really vinyl?
I've used some vinyl tubing made by Raindrip, and it was a lot more flexible than this stuff. And, that Raindrip-type vinyl was what I was expecting...but didn't get. This tubing is fairly stiff, and the connectors and the emitters require some pretty hard pushing to get them to go on, never mind off. I've been using a big pair of slip-joint pliers when I make the connections, and that makes things a lot easier. Other than that, what's to say? It ducts water; it's black; it has some little logo markings along the whole length in a silvery ink...and that's not especially a plus when you'd actually wish that the tubing would just not show up in the first place. Next time I need to buy tubing I'm going to look around and try to find some stuff that's easier to work with.

Not flexible
The last drip system I bought from Orbit had a very flexible hose - this was the hard plastic that I find in local hardware stores, so I was disappointed. It works fine, just not as easy to manipulate and hide.

Review tubing?
There was fifty feet and it is the size advertised. We will see how long it lasts. Nothing more can be said.
