Steep learning curve and amazing customer service
Original review: I've had my Nuwave Bravo XL for a few days and I wish I could give it a glowing review, but after less than stellar results I can't. I think that over time, I will learn to work around its quirks. My version came with a number of accessories including a silicone mat and a mesh tray/rack but not an air fryer basket (I can use the mesh rack, though it's not as deep). The first head scratch moment was trying to assemble the racks in it since what I got didn't match the instructions. I'll figure out how best the racks and trays fit and ignore the manual. Note: the manual is easier to follow once you've used the Bravo a few times because you'll be more familiar with the knob and buttons. Tried to make toast, burnt the first and undercooked the second. I make my own bread, so will have to experiment with what will actually work, homemade bread seems to toast differently than store bought. Major issue with the warming function. I wanted to proof my pizza dough and chose the warming function. When chosen, it is supposed to default to 140 degrees for 1 hour. You can easily adjust temperature up or down. I readjusted it to 80 degrees. I followed the instructions. You can see the result in the picture (fortunately my husband noticed before we had a real disaster and only lost the container). When I checked the unit it was set to 350. I thought I had messed up, but have since tried this function, manual in hand and find that it ultimately defaults to 350 for 15 minutes. (I learned from customer service that the warm function kicks in after you've performed another function, i.e. bake at 350 for 15 minutes). So does it cook? Absolutely, but be very watchful until you really figure it out. Update 2/17/23: Company contacted me directly and provided guidance and acknowledged that the manual is not very clear and will look to adjust it in the future. 5 stars for customer service!

Read instructions
The appliance takes some getting used to. You have to read the instructions. This is a little more detailed than the one I previously had. It's a great one stop shop! I am really enjoying it. It isn't compact, by any means, so you'll want to take that into consideration.

Complicated
Very complicated to use. I haven’t had a good piece of toast since I got it. I like that I can cook small meals with it, however I often have to view how-to videos to figure out how to use it.

Another great product from Nuwave
I have a couple new wave induction burners and their induction wok as well and I love all of them. When the opportunity arose to check out this air fryer / oven I jumped at it. This is a well built appliance. It is all stainless for the body. The racks and accessories are well built and sturdy. The silicone baking mat fits the pan well. I've been cooking for a long time and already own a smaller air fryer and a countertop convection oven so using this did come fairly quickly to me. That being said it is not quite as intuitive as the other Nuwave appliances I own so I did find myself sitting down with the manual a lot longer with this one. If you don't have experience with an appliance like this don't be intimidated but do read the manual and you should be up and cooking in no time.

Nice oven, but takes time to figure out its capabilities.
This is a very nice oven with a plethora of features, but it's complicated to learn all the functions. I suggest you have the instruction manual close by when using. The air fryer works great, and the oven bakes well too. It is sharp looking and saves space. It's more practical to cook with this most of the time than using a standard oven for smaller items. Definitely an energy saver. Once you get familiar with it, this oven will become your best friend in the kitchen!

works well, very versatile, but a tad hard to use
We got this to replace an older Breville that did not have air fryer. While we have not used the air fryer yet, we have used the toast and bake. For toast, it does the correct thing and toasts bread. Not much to say there. We tested baking on a pork loin and some Romanesco (a broccoli-cauliflower hybrid), as they both had a similar (within 25 degrees) temp to cook at. We used the convection option (on by default), as that saves time. We set the temp to 25 degrees lower than baking temp and started it up. When it reaches temp, it beeps 5 times. So, we put the food in and set the timer. The real issue is that it only beeps 2 or 3 times when it is done, and then shuts off. The beep is not that loud, and we missed it, so our food cooled down a bit. The Breville, on the other hand, has a beeping "song" (a bunch of rapid beeps), which you cannot miss. That would be a better option on this unit. That said, it did cook the food well. I like all the options this thing has, especially the probe. That makes it much easier to cook meat to the required temperature (note this is something the Breville does not have). It comes with all the required racks you need (including an air fryer rack). The only thing we don't like is that it only comes with 1 normal rack (the Breville comes with 2); 2 racks comes in handy at times. But, for all its features and its great price (a lot less than the Breviille), it is a great deal. Also note that currently there is a $40 coupon, bringing the cost to $160.
