Hyperthyroidism
This is my little buddy. His name is Bailey. He’s my best friend. In February 2022 he was about to die he was losing tremendous amount of weight and I found out it was hypothyroidism. I tried different diets nothing was really working. I started giving him this medicine called soothe. His coat immediately improve within 24 hours it was nice and fluffy and shiny. I also started giving him a grain free canned moist cat food by the brand called I and love and you. I went with the chicken recipe as it has some orange colored vegetables in it like carrots and sweet potatoes because those have any essential nutrient that cats need. I also started giving him a can of cat food called blissful belly made by blue Buffalo. I mix both cat foods 50-50. I heat up water and I mix it in with the cat food until his food is about the consistency of mashed potatoes because the cans of cat food are very dry and dehydration is a problem with hyperthyroidism. Also by heating the food up it makes it smell more and this stimulates your cats appetite. I then add a small pinch of the granules from the medicine soothe into the food. When I first started I was giving him a large pinch twice a day. He had always been a very big large male cat approximately 20 pounds. Things were going very. He still has the hip dysplasia very skinny in the hips and rear end but he stopped losing weight and he was acting very normal he’s stabilized and he has been doing very good until December. In December he started vomiting regularly. Every time he would drink water or eat food he would throw up. I was very sad because I knew there’s no way he can survive this. However I am not willing to give up I don’t know how to give up and many people around me were telling me it was time to put him to sleep and then maybe I was being selfish because it seemed like he was suffering. Not only would he throw up but then he would lay down and he would just lay there with his eyes open and stare he would not be interested in any food he was not interested in treats he was not interested in going outside. So I knew this is poor quality of life and it is time for me to put my little buddy down. But like I said I don’t know how to give up and as I analyze the situation the night before I was taking him to put him to sleep I realized he was starting to throw up every time he had the medicine sues. Even though he had stabilized all year he has slowly very slowly lost a little bit of weight and he is in his final years and he is aging quickly. It occurred to me that he might be getting too much of the medicine. I was still giving him two large pinches a day but I realize he had lost a considerable amount of weight over the final year so in a last ditch effort I reduced the soothe medicine daily does to one very small pinch about four or five granules per day. Immediately again his coat became very clean and shiny and he came back to life and within 24 hours of the same people who told me I should probably put him to sleep in that I might be being selfish told me you cannot put him to sleep look at how good he is doing! I do believe this medicine combined with the diet that I give him and please understand they have to eat very small meals frequently so I do feed him fresh warmed food every time he wants to eat it does not matter if I’m asleep or not I will get up and make it for him. I feel this is a very important procedure. If I just put food in a bowl and allow him to eat it it will be too dry And it will not absorb into his system as well. Combined with the soothe medicine and paying very close attention to the dosages you give your cat I believe the combination you can extend your cats life for a much longer. Then you would think. It is now January 1 on February 20 it will be exactly one year since I realized he had hypothyroidism and then that time I thought he was going to be dead with in days here is one year later! I hope this helps one person at least have a little bit more time with their pet their best friend. Don’t give up stay connected pay attention and embrace every second you get

Very old cat has hyperthyroidism
I have a 21-year-old cat who has hyperthyroidism at first I was mixing these granules in her food and she wasn't eating her food so it wasn't effectively working for her therefore I thought the product wasn't working but I had already paid for it so I started putting it in her water The very first night I noticed a difference she slept through the night she wasn't yowling she seemed more at peace whereas before she had so much energy she didn't know what to do with herself and would yowl all night it was sad to see her this way because she is blind and had excessive energy and seemed nervous all the time. This is not how I expected her to be in her golden years since she was never a very hyper cat. She was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism and they wanted to give her shots I absolutely did not want her to have to go through this so I'm glad I gave this product another try in her water because she is very mellow now and back to normal. This gave my cat more time with me when I thought I might have to put her down.
