Comfortable: Citrus Women's Sweat Short

Very soft and comfortable. I didn't find any flaws or defects. Lightweight material. Instructions state to wash by hand but they seem to launder just fine on delicate setting in cold water with other delicate clothing.

These shorts are soft and comfortable, but run a bit big for me. I would reorder a size down

Nice item, but too big.

This is like a Jersey cotton material; nice and soft and flowy and great for sleeping in. This could be nice for working out in since the shorts are so airy and flowy but your sweat will show and these might get a little warm due to the material. I think these are just OK.

Nice to Wear & Needs Extra Care

The Citrus Women's Sweat Short is so lovely. The shorts shipped well with minimal packaging. They emitted no weird odors or chemical-like smells. They were pretty wrinkled up upon arrival so they need to be cleaned and steamed/ironed before wear. I'm five foot two and a half inches tall, 128lbs, 32DD, 40 inches around the hips, and typically wear a women's size small/medium or 28/6 in bottoms depending on the brand. That said, I got this in the medium and found the fit perfect. The material is so very soft and gentle against my skin. The 83% Modal, 14% Cotton, 3% Elastane has a very nice drape and moves your body as you move not clinging at all. They aren't "warming" at all but have a nice coolness to them which will keep one comfortable if hot. The elastic waistband does not cut into my stomach. It holds well and if needing a tighter fit, know the drawstring is completely useable and not just there for looks. I favor the fit as it is not skin tight and has what I would call a drape to it. The pockets have more than enough room for my hands and I can put my phone and other small items inside without worrying about it slipping out and falling to the ground. You are to hand wash these and let them hang to dry. You might be able to get away with a cool gentle cycle but I have not tried. They are holding up well with no shrinkage, fading, or color bleeding. There are no off seams, loose strings, or poor construction issues to speak of. I like these as a wardrobe staple for the warmer seasons of the year but not only. They are a go-to causal choice that looks great with all sorts of cropped and regular-length tops. Recommended.

Comfy, well made shorts.

I ordered the XL as I'm usually a 12 to 14 in women's clothing for bottoms. I'm 5'7" tall and weigh approximately 160 lbs. These shorts fit as expected and are very comfy and soft. They are well made with a quality french terry material. The elastic waistband is nice and has a working drawstring which is great as I'm working to lose weight and will be able to continue wearing these throughout my weight loss journey. There are a couple of cons to these though... They are hand wash only, and there are no care instructions on the tags inside the shorts. You'd have to remember that they are hand wash only and keep them separated from your machine wash laundry. They do have pockets, but they are quite shallow. I expect anything I put in them to fall out, which makes the pockets pointless in my opinion. Overall value for money at just under $30 for the size I ordered is a bit low for me. Otherwise, they are a nice pair of shorts.

I hesitated to order these shorts because of the care instructions, but I have noticed in the last couple of years that manufacturers are putting 'hand wash' on the most ordinary items, so I decided to take a chance on these. It's still winter so I've only worn these once, but they're very comfortable. I washed them in my normal wash - no extra care - and put them in the dryer with no bad results. Cute color, very soft, they fit as expected and the drawstring is very adjustable. They are pricey so that's why I took away a star.

Surprised me!

WOW! I was not expecting to love these shorts. I have a hard time finding flattering shorts because my bottom is large compared to my waist. I noticed other reviews mention these ran large, so I went with a L rather than an XL. Tiny bit baggy in the front but perfect in the back. Plus the fact that you can tie them tighter really helped. I might have to buy them in blue too. The only thing I'm a little nervous about is the recommendation for hand-wash. Edit 3/23/22 - The first day I wore them the golden eyelet that holds the ties fell right off :(
