Great fit, comfortable and good looking.

This is my first set of Nunn Bush shoes. (I buy a pair in black and one in brown) I was drawn to them because they have a square toe box, wider widths and the fact that half sizes are available. They're also advertised as "waterproof." I got the black pair first to see if they fit, how they looked, whether they were comfortable or not and a first-hand look at the style. After wearting them around the house for 30 minutes, I promptly ordered a pair in brown. These shoes fit perfectly and they're so comfortable I hardly know they're on my feet. My wife said the shoes were good looking too! Now, the one thing I'm not sure about: waterproof. Even though the title of the product in the Amazon listing specifically says "waterproof," the tag in the shoe does not. Instead the tag reads "enhanced water resistance" and "repellant powered by Scotchguard," and "waterproof leather." Waterproof leather is not the same thing as a waterproof shoe. So now I'm not so sure if the shoes are waterproof or not, and I hesitate to stand in a puddle to find out.

Comfort

Initially I bought a size 11 which I usually wear but the shoes were too long. I re-ordered a size 10 1/2 medium and they fit perfect I haven't had these shoes very long. I've worn them all day a couple of times and they are extremely comfortable, next week, I will try out the waterproof capability. Overall, they look good and they feel good.

Well made...fits well...needs a day or two to break in..

Of over a half dozen shoes that I tried on this weekend, this is the only shoe that fit perfectly out of the box. I had to take a half size up for all of the others that I tried on at a local mall. When you first put on the shoe, it may seem a little bit stiff and the sole hard. After walking in them for a few miles, it is more comfortable and great for taking long walks. We have gravel on our roads that comes loose: the shoe sole handles that well. The material and the nubs are dirty, but not damaged. The nubs help keep the shoe level and do not collect the gravel like some other shoes. The leather is a good quality and nicely stitched without any visible imperfections. Great value for the price. The shoes are a little bit stiff...but soften up with some time and mileage. Just got back from a walk in the rain....no worries.

Comfort and Quality

I usually don’t write reviews, but I’m making an exception for these shoes. The fit , quality and comfort are exceptional. As I’ve aged comfortable shoes are almost impossible to find online. My feet have widened or spread out, and finding shoes has been a challenge. These loafers are the best fitting shoes that I’ve found in several years. We’ll made and substantial, these shoes are AAA.

Nice shoe for the price

This is a nice shoe you can use for every day or for going out. Goes with anything. Is light and comfortable like a tennis shoe but can also look like a dress shoe. Good quality made.
