Comfort

I love my prophet choose. I normally like those with no tiedowns, but I’ve been. I am an able to get them as of late so I opted for this Velcro. The shoe is very stable for my neuropathy feet and I try to always find a profit shoe that fits my needs.

Velcro for shoe strap didn’t last a month. I tried with new Velcro. Didn’t work.

Please use quality Velcro. It won’t hold.

Good looking velcro shoes, that need a few improvements.

I picked up these shoes this Fall. They’re the best option for someone with mobility issues where you’d have a hard time lacing up your shoes. For that, I am very grateful that Propet makes decent looking shoes like these, that don’t scream handicapped or old, retired and unproductive when you wear them. I picked up a size 11 and they fit well, similar to other size 11 shoes and boots and seem pretty comfortable. The only issues I could see are that they are not waterproof at all. I went out on a rainy day and while getting from the front door to my car, my toes got wet with just a few drops of rain hitting to tops of my shoes. The soles are fine though haven’t had any issues with getting them wet. Last thing is the leather or whatever they might call it. I’m not sure if it’s real leather. seems very hard and inflexible, and very thin as well. I’ve worn them for about 3 months now, and they’re holding up. But it’s already showing a bit of wear, and i doubt they’ll last more than a year. Aside from those issues, it’s a decent shoe, with the best part being the velcro vs the traditional casual dress shoe with the laces. If you have drop foot, and use a brace like I do, this shoe’s a godsend because I couldn’t get my foot brace into slip-ons because the opening was always too narrow and for lace up shoes I couldn’t bend low enough to tie up my laces. Last option would have been velcro runners, but I wouldn’t be caught dead walking around with those and a cane. I’m not 95 yet. Far from it. So, final verdict. A decent shoes that could use a bit of improvement for the price your paying, but if you absolutely need a good looking velcro shoe for everyday use, this is the one.

This shoe is good for everyday use and I think the price is fine for the product. It does adjust adequately for wide fit. I would not use it for a dress occasion, though one might be able to get away with it.
