Decent sliding pad for youth softball. Had to return and get the adult size for my daughter who is 9 years old. If your child has fairly skinny legs this will work for them. If they have any meat on their bones, get the adult size.

Not just for baseball and softball

My 13-year old daughter is a pretty serious soccer player. As the intensity of her play has increased, so has the frequency with which she is coming away from games with bloody knees. One of her favorite plays is a sliding tackle … effective, but not great for your skin. I decided to give these slider knee pads a try, and since she started using them four weeks ago she has not had a single knee injury. The knee pads are staying in place, and are holding up well under the abuse. I highly recommend them. I struggled with sizing. Specifically, these pads come in two,and only two sizes: Youth and Adult. We purchased both, and for my 5’3” 105-pound daughter, the Youth were the better fit. Soccer is a lot more active than baseball or softball (sorry, but it’s true), and either Adult or Youth would have served her just fine for either of those sports (speaking from experience, as she also plays softball). But with the continuous running and movement in soccer, the Adult were just a little too loose for her.

Fits well

I bought this knee pad for my 11 yr. old son for when he slides at baseball. He tends to scrape his knee quite a bit between sports and school. Sliding when stealing bases reopens the abrasion. This time around he had been reopening the same scrape 3-4 times a week and it had been a month since it was originally scraped. This knee pad has been a wonderful addition to his gear. his knee was finally able to heal and has not been scraped since he started wearing this. For reference, he is about 5' and 90lbs. It fits snug but not too tight. Worth the cost to save his knees.

Great protection / Undetectable

These are awesome! My 12u player does a lot of sliding & diving on the base paths. Sometimes his knees will be cut open for weeks from continued play. I ordered several pairs of knee pads and these are the best by far. He wears knickers and these go under his socks. They are not noticeable at all. We also bought him a pair of baseball sleeves for his arms & those work great. He does a ton of pinch running sometimes several times a tournament & these have saved his body. Highly recommend!

He like it!

I bought this product for my baseball playing son. He's an aggressive base stealer. Unfortunately, stealing bases comes with knee strawberries. This sleeve has been a knee saver. It fits well and does not slide down. He can run without any issues in this knee sleeve.

Fits 7yr old well

My daughter is 7 and in 8u learning to slide. I put it over her long socks under her pants and fits well. She’s 49 in and 52lbs

Improper information

One size fits all doesn't tell you it is a youth until AFTER you bought the item. Second time with the same company I will never deal with them again.

Excelente calidad en el material y la elasticidad. Yo las utilizo para jugar voleibol y me da el soporte necesario para mis rodillas para saltar y correr. Van varias piezas que compro. Los recomiendo al 100%
