Cooks well but has design flaw

Rotisserie A 6 pound chicken good, but this model has design flaw. The skewer shaft slides out of motor slot while rotating your meat. This is because the notch is made too wide on the other end of shaft where handle is. There is too much play in the movement of the shaft. I put a washer and cotter pin there, see photo. That eliminates the excess movement of shaft. It still turns freely. I would not recommend this model unless you are prepared to do some alterations.

DOESN'T GET HOT

I had high hopes for this 1500W grill, but it just doesn’t get hot enough. The calrod glows to a medium pale red but just doesn’t put out enough heat. Set on 2 the unit never cycled on/off. Took 30 minutes to coo a 3/4” pork chop and no charring. I would not buy this again or suggest anyone else. Nice looking grill, good size and weight, but that doesn’t get it grilled.

Saved the Day

We were in charge of a large event and our current electric grill went out. We used to have one just like this one and it lasted 5 years so we decided to get another one. It came just in time and we were able to cook large amounts of meat with it. Saved The Day! It worked Beautifully!
