Stainless Steel Bolt-Type Anchor Shackle - 3/8"

This was an excellent product for my purpose. My priorities included the safety of the cotter pin keeping the nut in place and the strength of the 3/8" steel. (Most I found did not come with the cotter pin.) Stainless steel vs galvanized was a bonus rather than a requirement. I expect many years use on the boat dock. Since I needed four, that they were packaged in a four-pack was another bonus. Delivery from Amazon was on time. Overall a good value.

It is a good affordable stainless anchor shackle, the safety pin is dainty at best, I will be using a different stronger pin.

Keep your anchor attached

Much more secure than ones without the cotter pin. I put blue thread lock on mine for extra security. No oxidation after very frequent use with a Richter style anchor over a couple months.

Improved ground tackle

Great improvement from older shackles. Easy to seize with ss wire.

Don’t buy the photo

Requires an Allen key instead of hex nut, no cotter pin. Just not the same product.

Decent quality for the price.

This shackle is decent quality for the price. This shackle is comparable to the US made Suncor Stainless shackles which would easily be twice the price. Well made product for the price even though it's made in China.
