Perfect
This was not only the most affordable but best looking option for a difficult threshold: we put new vinyl over what must have been two or three previous layers of flooring, so there was already about a 1/2" height difference. This strip covered that transition beautifully, and perfectly matches the original oak hardwood. Just an excellent solution for a tough spot.

Pretty junk
First, I should have gotten a picture. The wood grain is a thin brittle coating. I tried to bend mine just slightly to cover a gap. The grain coating split and flaked off. I ended up spray painting it black. This is my 3rd one of these. I have noticed even when cutting they will flake. Sadly nobody else seems to have this style. Not many options out there. Either way, I got it to work. Metal work is top notch. Super strong. Would get 5 stars across the board if the coating wasn't so cheaply done. Probably going to have to order a bunch of a different style and paint them and redo everything I've tried to do. Super disappointed.

Great quality
Was exactly as described. Actually looks like wood, but obviously metal, so thin enough to work for what we needed. Only complaint is that the nails that came with it wouldn’t work with our carpet. But no big deal if your not going through thick carpet.

Nail head color didn't match the trim color
The wood look matched my naturally finished red oak hardwood floors quite well. I used this as a transition between the wood floors and a 3/16-inch step-up to a bathroom tile floor. This trim transitioned the height difference perfectly. The only negative is that the colored nail heads were a drab olive-green color that don't match at all. I emailed the seller to find out if they are all that way or I just got something unusual. As expected, there was no response.

Metal transitions look great!
We had initially purchased wood transitions but found their thickness and design to be unappealing not to mention more work. We would have to cut the bedroom doors which required a transition underneath them and the transition itself needed tweaking to fit properly. These metal transitions really look like wood and are very low to the ground. They adjust easily to any small difference in height between the flooring types. They are easy to install once you've cut them down to appropriate length.

Nice oak, but both were splitting still in the packaging
Beautiful oak thresholds. But both were split in the package. Not sure how to rate these. Splitting wood is normal, but not for brand new, still in the plastic package! Unusable.
