great hand and arm protection wrap for after surgery!

things dont have to be glorified or expensive to work well,,this cheaper less frilly item kept my double surgery on hand and wrist dry from getting wet AND!! operation was on my dominant right hand so could not buy other fancy items that you have to stretch open to insert hand!! ....I live alone and am older woman and wanted something I could do without help from others and this is PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so easy and used it 3 times in shower already and hand never got hand wet!! ( and there are 3 gloves in the package with one great band to wrap glove around arm :-) THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR AN EASY SMART PRODUCT THAT WORKS!!...from Sheila Wolk

Totally waterproof

I had to keep a broken thumb dry due to a pin in it. This thing worked great. I used it daily for six weeks and never got a single drop of water past the seal. This was even as I had to let my arm hang down due to shoulder surgery at the same time. I would recommend this to anyone needing to keep a cast or injury dry,

Easy to use alone

The gloves this came with are extremely low quality but the strap is a lifesaver. I have been in a cast for almost a year and this method works so much better than taping gloves to your arm. Definitely a low cost option to the fancy rubber arm covers.

Plastic closure bands are difficult to use

Both my wrists are fractured & in casts, so I suspect these bags would likely work better if only covering 1 arm. The bags do have fingers & thumb, which is better than similar products. But, the plastic closure bands are very awkward to use & do not release like they should. Of course they would likely work better if you were only covering 1 arm. I still got water down into my casst even with the bands pulled very tight if I get directly under the shower. Still better than other similar products.

Works with workaround

It did go over the dressing. Couldn't get closure band to work. Used a rubber band. Will try a Gear Tie next for easy reliable closure

Next time just use a garbage bag and tape.

Not easy to tighten the strap with one hand. Thumb part too small and finger parts huge flapping around. Cheaper/easier to just use a garbage bag and tape.

For the most part works well

They do work but sometimes you get one that leaks at the fingers on the first use. Usually if hung up to dry they can be used several times

Great for showering

Was a little difficult to use finger openings with cast half on hand. But a game changer for showers!
