Queen Helene Lotion

I have been using this lotion for years I love the scent and the texture. I often smell it on myself when I get hot or I’m working out. I only wish it came in a pump bottle so I just reuse one from another lotion. It’s definitely worth the price too.

With inflation so bad, this is a great way to save money. This lotion has been around for a long time. Glad I found it again on amazon. I use several different brands of lotion and this one is added to that list !!

Lightweight, dries fast.

This lotion is good for summer: not too heavy, dries quickly. It's also a possible choice for those with very sensitive skin, who tend to react to heavy-fragrance lotions. Fragrance is nice, and so is price.

Smells like cocoa butter.

I got some of the Palmer's but it doesn't smell like cocoa butter at all. The Palmer's smells like regular lotion but the Queen Helene smells like I expect cocoa butter to smell so I'll be buying more of this for sure. edit: I made a mistake, the FRAGRANCE FREE Palmer's smells like "regular lotion", the normal Palmer's smells like you would expect cocoa butter to smell so they are equally good in my eyes now.

Gets the job done????

A little thinner/more liquid-y than your basic body lotion, however the smell is lovely & it definitely leaves your skin feeling silky smooth. Main thing I love is the squeeze-cap top, I need to fill smaller dispensers we have around the home/office and this does the job very easily & effectively. Other tops don't suction up all the lotion and you end up throwing so much away still stuck in the bottle! Not this one???? will buy again

Not for people with very dry skin

Keep it by your kitchen sink, a great softener and stain remover for hands.

I'm so sorry, this was so incredibly runny that it is very difficult to use for what I bought it for (a body lotion). The smell is not very cocoa butter, more petroleum based, so I didn't feel like my body smelling of that either! It is however being used next to our sink at home. We run a smallholding so are forever washing our hands which means a need for moisturising, and sometimes get stained hands from sheep foot spray. This stuff mixed with hand soap is a bit of a marvel at getting stains off hands and leaving hands soft, give it a go.

Fake Goods

This is not genuine Queen Helene cocoa lotion. I have used this product for many many years and this is not original stuff. First it separates in the bottle leaving an oily residue at the bottom. The lotion comes out in a watery/ oily liquid with lumps in and no shaking of the bottle mixes it. When I tried to apply it the lotion was like trying to rub oily water into my skin. And lastly - no smell. The original Queen Helene lotion smells deliciously of coconut. Awful awful awful and a complete rip off.

Soft and smooth

I love this cocoa butter it smells and feels great on my body use it all the time so if you are looking for a cream queen helena cocoa butter is good

Great but not good for dry skin!

Its ok for normal skin but I have dry skin and when I apply it my skin feels fine but after a bit (30min to 1hr) my skin feels dry again. So if you have oily to normal skin I recommend this for you but otherwise i recommend you buy a more moisturising lotion for example Vaseline Lotion (yellow bottle) is great for dry skin.
