Very nice, especially like the company

This rope took some time to get delivered and before I got it I noticed the shipping was more than the rope! Kinda irritated, I looked up the seller and they stated online that their shipping was less than I had gotten. After contacting the seller, they acknowledged the mistake and made corrections to include removing the shipping entirely with this purchase. As for the sash rope itself, I think this rope has more give than the original sash rope I had in my windows - if I measure and exact rope size, after attaching the weight it is too long, I need to knot it up a bit for it clear. Might be that I am novice at this re-roping sash weights, or could be that the rope gives more than the old style - that was the cause for the 4 rather than 5.

I like the sturdiness of this rope

I use this rope to make coiled rope baskets, a use for which the stretchiness or lack thereof is not important, so I cannot comment on that. I like the sturdiness of this rope, it's nice and thick and pretty easy to push a darning needle through. I do wish that someone still made full cotton rope without a poly core. I dyed this cord for one of my baskets and the cotton shrunk while the poly core did not, leading to some odd puckering and places where the poly poked through the cotton outer layer. I would recommend against soaking this rope as a result, or if you must, use cool water to minimize how much the cotton shrinks.

Great for general purpose

I really just bought this to show my Cub Scouts different types of line. It was easy for them to practice and learn a few knots. I think when you are learning knots it’s nice to have something that will bend and lay easily. This does that well.

Good rope for sash cords.

Used this to re-string 3 of my 1925 double hung windows. As described. Tight limited stretch. Correct to size as described. Diameter also as described. Installed about 6 months ago so cannot comment on extended (years) performance. So far so good. This is a stiff rope perfect to tie into counterweight system.

The best replacement sash rope I've found.

I restore antique sash windows. My clients expect the best. This rope looks, feels, and functions just like the original sash rope, but the poly core keeps it flexible.

Nice, but not bright white

Nice, soft cotton rope. Used it to wrap a heater pole in my daughter's room. Only reason for 4 stars is that it isn't a clean bright white like it appears to be- it's a natural "white", a little tan/cream. (2nd imagine is against a bright white chair)

This works perfectly for the duffel bags we make for Bags of Love which is a program that makes a bag, quilt, and includes personal items, toys, stuffed animals, activities depending on age and gender for all children that the Child Protective Services give to children that are coming out of drug homes and can take nothing with them to their foster home. The cords tie making a handle to hold the bag along with a label for the gender and age group.

Good resistance in the high desert sun.

We purchased these to replace the rope on our sun sails, these worked perfectly. In the mountains we have really high UV exposure from the sun that degrades rope, we're almost through a summer with this replacement line without the degradation that the previous rope encountered. Only downside is where we cut the line it has been hard to prevent stray strands, the old match trick didn't seem to bind it as well as the old line, but I'll take frays and more years of service.
