This lie is actually pretty cool to use. The way you can mimic the movement of a spider on the water. Have have caught plenty of bass

GREAT LURE with some issue.
So this LH top water lure is fantastic but like most lures does have some issues. Main thing was it caught fish!!! Unlike other posts who put a 1 star, they still caught fish just were babies about it not being “perfect”. It’s a plastic lure with a hole in it to make it float, so it can get water in it and sink. Pros: it had great movement on the surface, got tons of action, great color options and being weedless could be thrown anywhere. Cons: Does land upside down but for me flipped back over every time once popping it a few times. If it got bit, it would squeeze the lure allowing water to get it and sink. Just reel it in, pinch the water out and once you do that it went back to floating properly for me. Make sure you bring needle nose because once this gets in a their throat it’s a pain to get out. Lastly, and probably my biggest issue; after tons of action the paint came off quite a bit on the very first day. I love this lure, did its jobs but does have flaws, overall catches fish and is fun to fish with. Everyone needs a few of these in their bag. Also check out LH “Froglet” if you like walking the dog.

A lot of fun.
I've had a ton of fun with this bait. I can't seem to get lethargic bass to bite it on topwater, but local trout JUMP for this thing when I quickly walk it across a stream. If you steadily reel in fast enough, the legs make some good action. Unfortunately the trout around here don't have mouths big enough to swallow the spider so I haven't hooked any yet. I've casted this thing over branches probably 10x on 10lb braided line and got it back every time.

You only get one
Looks exactly like a frog and the double hook placement is perfect. The picture shows a large and a small but your only getting one. Somewhat disappointed with that but I guess I should’ve read it better. Sill a good product for the price, so far …..

Great top water lure
I've never been much for top water lures because I've never caught anything on a frog ever but I've caught a handful of bass on this spider in the month that I've had it. I missed two but caught at least 5 decent bass on it including bass I'd almost think were too want you hit it but they did. It pulls through heavy cover pretty well and I've only been using 10# power pro braid and I'm able to set the hook good on them. I lost my original spider because a big bass grabbed it and pulled me into some tall reeds and broke my 10# braid but I would've had him if I had heavier braid on but I like going as light as I can so I can cast farther since I have the 1/4oz version since the 1/2oz was on back order which I would've used 50# for.

Does Not Float!
Unless the two spiders I received are defective this is possibly the worst designed 'topwater' lure I've ever seen. Took one out this morning and when twitching or retrieving the lure it filled with water and sunk approx. three inches below the surface every single time. Had to squeeze water out of it before every single cast as the hole where the hooks enter the body is too large letting the water in. Saw the same problem on several Youtube fishing channels but had to try them anyway. C'mon Lunkerhunt, you can do better than this.

Amazing action- low durability
Wow- nothing but strike after strike. I bought 6 to date (but no more I think) It’s a great lure with one huge drawback. After a few big strikes, the rubber years slightly around the hooks and it doesn’t sit on top of the water like it should. You still get strikes - just less of them. And for the price, you wish they would last longer. It’s a catch 22.
