Very Disappointed
I was excited to finally find a blue dragon fly top water bait. This lure casts fantastic, but it is far from a top water bait. When it hits the water it sinks about 4” under the surface. As you reel and jerk it in, its stay under water about 2-4 inches and streamers don’t flutter they simply stay back the whole ride. Very disappointing purchase, and not as described in the video of the lure.

Great lure
My son bought this exact lure at WalMart for over $8. We used it on a farm pond and the large mouth tore it up! They were hitting it as soon as it hit the water. It was a hot day and middle of the afternoon before we got out there. After several fish they had torn the wings off. Came looking for something similar on Amazon. Ordered 1 to make sure it was the same. Ordering a few more right away.

Great lure, worked like a chard
Great Lure! Worked in our local pond well. Surprisingly worked in weeds and dirty water. Very weedless. A little lacking in durability but that’s expected with the floating material used. I recommend a little super glue at the base of the wigs to keep them from pulling out.

High quality
Haven't had a chance to fish with the lure yet but I do believe it will work. The one I purchased is white and black. I plan on adding blue and green with magic markers. I do believe the dragonfly will work well in tall grass and lilies.

Where were these last summer?
I did a bit of unpressured bass fishing in the remotes of the Georgia mountains last summer and wish I'd had this black and white dragonfly for a top water bait. The fish were absolutely CRUSHING black and white dragonflies everywhere. And now, I have this bait. I like it so much I bought additional ones in blue, red and yellow for dragonfly species that frequent my hometown.

Fish are smarter than lunker hunt thinks....
There I was, on a quiet lake covered in lily pads early in the morning. Fish were jumping. Blue dragon flies were buzzing all around, landing on my pole. I thought, this must be the perfect conditions for my new dragon fly lure...and boy did I think wrong. I'm pretty sure as I popped, twitched, and retrieved this fake fly, the fish laughed as I insulted their intelligence. They knew better, and I knew better. Not one bite on this thing all morning, day, or evening. I then threw in a frog and a catfish smacked it so hard and so fast I thought it was 10lb bass. So, even on an extremely active lake, this thing sucks more than a straw. 3 stars for the hook though.

Dragon Flyweight
I want to like this lure but it’s just too damn light weight. You can’t cast this damn thing with a bait caster. If there is wind get ready for backlash hell I tried a weighted hook but it wouldn’t float.
