Works great, but it came with a defect
The saw itself feels powerful. Mine arrived with a broken sole and no replacement parts were available

Product is hi quality and works well.
This saw is extremely convenient and easy to use. It has a dust port for a vacuum that works well keeping the sawdust away from the blade so you can see the cut line. Beware, when the battery is discharged, the illumination light may come on and the motor starts then dies. Remember to check the charge level. The battery has a test button and will show 0 to 3 green bars indicating charge level. Greenworks tech support is super efficient and helpful.

Variable Speed control
I like this tool but Variable Speed should control 0-3000 SPM. Mine could be smoother/more control at lowest SPM setting when pulling the trigger.

Battery terrible
I bought this 6 months ago because I love my rechargeable large outdoor lawn tools. I’ll admit, I only used the jigsaw for the first time this weekend. Plugged the battery in all night and it was dead in the morning. Charged all day. Still dead. Ridiculous. Was going to get the collection of small cordless power tools, but I will be going with a different brand now.

Very, very effective tool for many household applications!
I am not new to Greenworks tools as I already have several of their cordless devices. Greenworks is a real player in the DIY consumer space. This jig saw borders on commercial grade for its features and impact resistant quality. Fortunately I had a job were I was able to put this jig saw to use right away. I was laying down a hard wood floor and had some delicate curves to recreate. Once I was used to the handling and what to expect from it, I ditched the practice scraps and it was time for the real deal. Visibility with the built in LED really helped in this situation. I know I could have set up the bandsaw for this, but I was confident in the Greenworks jig saw enough to work with it. The curves came out perfect. No burring. Blistering was very minimal (I used tape over the wood prior to cuts) and cleaned up by a sander afterwards. I have now used the jig saw on a floor and on drywall to create a rectangular hole for an electrical outlet. Once I was able to get the jig saw through the drywall it was very stable and easy to maneuver. I can honestly say that I don't ever see myself going back to my electric jig saw. I didn't even mention the cordless fact yet. Wow, it is so nice to run one less cord. The freedom to do work in place on the go is something this tool really excels at. I can't comment yet on the life of the battery, as I have only used the jig saw to cut half a dozen 3/4" solid oak flooring planks, plus some practice cuts and a small square of drywall. It was powerful, easy to use and the battery level barely moved. I will say overall, I am quite impressed with the Greenworks jig saw and its accessories. I was surprised at this price point that the battery AND charger were included!

GREENWORKS is my new go-to brand!
I have an old, really old corded jigsaw that mostly cuts straight. When I came across this Greenworks 24V Jigsaw Brushless Cordless I knew it was time to retire and move over to new technology. Could not be happier! No more extension cords. Ability to take the jigsaw to the job, not the other way around. And a power/battery option that is easily interchangeable with all of their other 24V tools. Taking this jigsaw out of the box, you will find the battery, a charger, blades, and the unit itself. It would be nice to have a bag included like some of their other tools to keep all the parts together. The jigsaw has a very bright light which is a nice feature. It works very well and the battery (with a power indicator) should last through most jobs. GREENWORKS is a manufacturer that I have been coming across more and more lately and I'm liking what I see. I will definitely be adding more of their battery operated products to my tool box!

Impressive power, quality build
Greenworks has become my go-to brand lately, as I've gone deep into their system since they all use the same batteries. This tool, like their others, stands out with quality build and function that rivals the fancy brands. My Greenworks tools get more use than my fancy yellow expensive ones. It's apparent when you hold and use this tool that it's made just like the more familiar high-end brands. Heavy, thick composites and not thin, brittle plastics. The power of the motor is excellent and it tears through things just like a corded unit. The best part- if you use some of their other tools, you can always have batteries ready to roll since they all interchange. Greenworks nailed it with this one- it's excellent.
