Great product!

I didn't realize when I purchased this with my new french press how used this would be! So glad I made the purchase. It is used to measure coffee put in the press, stir stick when adding the water, and I also use it to swish the coffee grounds with water to pour them out. Well made, easy to clean. Worth every penny!

Has a fatal flaw - great until it breaks from a design defect

This scoop/stirrer looks great. Nice design and it's convenient to flip it over to stir in the French Press. Scoop is a good shape and handle length is just right. Unfortunately though... if you drop this scoop on the floor it is likely to break (see my photo). The scoop breaks off the handle where it was soldered. The joint is not very strong and this is a design defect. In full disclosure, this has happened to me twice. And I've reordered this product both times because I otherwise like it. Thus the 3 stars. But be prepared to be buying a scoop that will likely only last a few years until you drop it and you have to replace it because it breaks

Perfect for French press and coffee bags.

Perfect for French press coffee and flat side used to get grounds out of pot. Sturdy and easy to clean. Love the long handle to reach in pot and bag of coffee.

A Must Have with the Frieling French Press

We first used a French press almost on accident while staying at an AirBnB in Canada last year. I had been using an Aeropress for years, but had never tried an actual French press. After trying a simple glass one on that trip I realized that it was a lot easier and quicker than the Aeropress, and also gave a great result of coffee. I set to research buying a non-glass version and came upon the Frieling. We have loved using it! We use it daily, and have even brought it with us on trips (whether staying in a hotel or AirBnB) so we would always have the coffee comforts of home. Using it with the companion scoop/stirrer make consistent, quality coffee.

You Get One Spoon

Product is very well made, does what it's designed to do. As mentioned in other reviews this listing is for ONE (1) scoop/stirrer of the 2-Tablespoon size, as opposed to the 1-Tbsp size. This is in the product title and description; HOWEVER, it seems to be a common mistake to believe that this listing includes two (2) spoons. The product image depicts the two different sizes, and NOT the number of spoons included in the package. I'll admit I had purchased thinking I would get 2 spoons, but upon further inspection of the product listing here on Amazon, it is clear that this is for a single spoon of the 2-Tbsp variety. Yes, this is confusing, as there are 2 spoons of seemingly same size in the image, but closer inspection reveals that the spoon in the background is the smaller. This is not an excuse though, as the image reasonably leads one to believe that 2 spoons are included, one of the 1Tbsp, and one of the 2-Tbsp. Amazon has clearly indicated everywhere else on the product page that only the 2-Tbsp spoon is included. Admittedly the price is a little high for a single item, but it is totally worth it.

Can't believe how much I like this.

I can't believe how much I love this thing. It gets right to the bottom of my Starbucks bag, I no longer get my hand stuck in the bag with my tiny plastic coffee measure. It is also long enough that I never lose it. Overpriced? Yes but it makes preparing my morning coffee so much less annoying.

not a quality product

Do not buy this. It is extremelly cheaply made. Both spoon ends are welded on using a copper coloured metal and it is very apparent against the stainless steel handle. Sloppily made. Returning and now questioning if i should cancel my french press also made by this company. Definitely not worth the money.
