These work fine but with all FloraFlex products they’re WAY over-priced for pieces of green plastic
If you’re going with FF caps you seemingly need these even if you use generic tubing. They work fine and stay clipped as long as you make sure to squeeze tight around the clip when closing them. Unless you have the 3 or 4” caps you probably need two lines per cap to get full coverage (which you can do with a T-splitter rather than two full lines from the main line. The benefit of the FF caps are preventing mold etc. and getting even distribution and I’ll regrettably keep using them with rockwool but man do they charge A LOT for pieces of plastic. There are cheap plastic covers that I believe most commercial grows that use rockwool use but I would worry about equal water coverage assuming you’re using top-feed. (If you’re not consistently flushing the whole cube you can get salt build up essentially killing that portion of the cube.) At least the rockwool is super cheap and way better than coco in my opinion/experience. The caps & clips are also easily re-usable.

Clips are awesome but Amazon's inspectors need a lesson in counting. Got shorted two clips.
I like the clips very much but the package only had 10 clips in it. The package was supposed to have 12 clips. So whoever packaged it at Amazon screwed up. It says right on the bag they're supposed to be 12 of them. They stuck their little Amazon inspected sticker over the top of the part where it says 12 in a package. I'd sure like to have my other two clips. there's a picture of the Amazon bag next to another bag that I bought from a different seller other than Amazon. You can clearly see their identical bags and where it says 12 is visible on the other bag.
