Good for insulating water pipes

this is a "good" insulating tape but not the best, the roll that I received it doesn't always unrolls eastly, it will stick and tear apart, the aluminum foil will peel off and I have to discard it , then keep unrolling to find a good section.

Great price, but adhesive is awful.

Was trying to insulate some hard to reach copper pipes and this wrap/tape wouldn't even stick to itself, let alone the pipe. Shame.

Old stock? Roll didn't peel off well.

It seemed like the roll must have been sitting around a really long time and subjected to heat or cold, because the tape was awful to peel off and stuck to itself. I had to rely on the foil holding its shape and keeping it in place more than the adhesive. I almost threw it away but just dealt with it. I think if the tape were recently manufactured it might work properly.

Foil does not stick to foam tape

Fairly low quality. Foil separates from the foam tape. Also the foam tape tears and stick to the foil on the roll.

Great purchase and very happy with the sticky tape on the back. No issues or concerns and would purchase again

Adhesive destroyed - totally unusable

I am guessing this was extremely old inventory. The adhesive was completely destroyed so that the foil was falling off of the rubber part, and then the adhesive side was coming off in pieces. Tried multiple areas of the roll in the hopes that some part was usable - it was not. Threw in garbage.
