Not copper. It's copper plated steel.

Possibly an oversight on my part, but I was looking for pure copper scrub pads. These were very shiny out of the package, which pure copper usually is not. Put them by a magnet, and they stick big time. So if looking for pure copper, these are not the pads you are looking for.

Unconventional use.

We did not buy them to clean pans. We heard a folk remedy for keeping mice away was to put a copper pads in a drawer. We have mice that return to the same drawer in our kitchen. Our copper scouring pads are in that drawer. Must give this a year to observe. So far no one has returned

Easy comparison with Chore Boy brand. The EverClean brand weighs a full gram heavier and a thicker strand. And you get 3 per package, not 2.

Avoid this item

Started falling apart after 1 use. Kinda hard to use something if it doesn't stay together. Also, left it on my counter top after the first use and now have severe rust marks on my counter. Guess I should've been clued in with the low price.
