Misleading dimensions
The dimensions given were misleading and did not meet the needs we had. The product is unacceptable and is being returned. The usable area is far less than what was given as dimensions.

Not up to Art Bin standards
Not up to Art Bin standards. I bought these (14" 1014AB) a couple of months ago (too long ago to return). I wish I had examined them a little more carefully. Two of the three boxes I bought had cracks in them at the base. I have reinforced them with tape but they will still never be as strong as some of the other sized ArtBin boxes I have. They were only $5.42 at the time so maybe it was a defective bunch. At any rate, maybe it is a purchase better made in a store so the quality can be checked.

Measurements shown online reflect a closed box, not the inside space
advertised size reflects the box when it's closed - inside there is less room. I returned it.

Handle uses up a significant portion of interior dimensions
I love ArtBin products -- they are well-made and well-designed, and this is no exception. However, be advised that the product specifications give the *exterior* dimensions of this box, including the recessed handle. The handle takes up part of the interior space so the largest rectangular thing you could put in the box would be about 7.25 W x 13.75" L x 3" D . If you're looking to fit something specific inside, take this into account. At the sides where the handle does not cut into the inside space, you could fit an object of about 8.25" L x 3" W x 3" D.

ArtBin Medium Quick View Carrying Case, Standard Base, Translucent Clear
This is great for art supplies, but not coloring books. I had bought it along with some crayons and a few other drawing supplies and a coloring book for a 7yr old. Everything fit, but the coloring book. The handle cuts into the storage space. That is why I gave it 4 stars. It would have been perfect for a little hand to carry, if only it had been an inch taller in the storage space area. It is completely clear, so you can see into it easily.

good product, but it did not work for what I bought it for. I had hoped to put notebooks and coloring books into them, but the handle is in the way.

Using mine as a case for a drill and it fits the bill. Pretty heavy duty plastic, not flimsy at all.

Nice!
It's a storage case and does what it is supposed to do. Looks good, fairly solid, and you can stand it up vertically on the feet when closed so saves space. Nice touch.
