Drys sooooo fast
I chipped my tile that looks like cement so I thought this would be the perfect product to fix it. I thought I would be clever and put it in a ziplock bag and I mixed it up and cut off the top of the bag. I barely got it put in the hole and then it set. It worked for my project but I don’t think I would use it for something larger

Works Great
I bought this to repair a couple of cracks in a birdbath. It works great! It's easy to mix and apply, just be careful to keep the proportions exactly as on instructions or it's not so effective.

Less than you think!
This product is excellent. However, it is a little tricky to use because it sets very fast, maybe 4-5 minutes, so when you start spreading it is still to thin and when you finish it is almost too thick. But that fast set is what makes it work on active leaks. As for the headline, the powder is "puffy" with air, when you add water you get less cement than you might expect from the amount of powder. Also, for me at least, the tubs (1 bought two 4lb units) were only about 70% full. But I will use it again when I need it.

great for lags
One of the best uses is for packing holes drilled in concrete for lag bolts/threaded rod to secure it to concrete, or to do the same with metal tubing. Its also good for patching concrete as well.

Eleven inches; still standing pat
Bought this product 11-26-15 to repair the base of a single foundation seam that had finally leaked after a prior professional fix done some 25 years earlier. The small, pesky leak was about 1 inch above the floor and I wanted to repair it before ice and snow run would cause greater problems. In Missouri we have had record breaking rainfalls and a one inch rain the first week of December came before I could get my patch up. I waited a couple of days for the leaking to stop but a small seepage persisted and I went ahead V-chiseled from the base up along the seam for about six inches. I applied a mix slightly on the dry side but a filmy moisture persisted and by the following morning the seepage had returned. I waited a couple of weeks for the wall to completely dry and repeated the process this time with a wetter mix. I wanted to get it done before the Christmas holidays as we expected house guests and there was a forecast for more rain starting 12-26-15. Our guests arrived early and your correspondent got tied up with darling twin granddaughters and a second patch never happened. You know how it is. The rains came Christmas night with no let up. I checked the basement Saturday morning expecting the worst but it was bone dry and stayed that way through three days of monsoon-like conditions with total accumulation of eleven inches. The basement is still dry as I write this. For now, I'm skipping the 2nd patch; I don't want to jinx myself. I'm standing pat.

Perfect Product for Damp Area Patching
I don't know how to review this product other than hydraulic cement is hydraulic cement, and for the home-use need this purchaser had for it, it worked perfectly. If you need to seal something that is slightly damp at the time, this will work. If you need something that works under water, then you need Underwater Patching Compound from a marine supplier. This worked well for me, as I expected that it would.
