20ft accuracy after a few weeks

we feed the nice birds like finches robins cardinals. but the mean grackles crowd out the nice birds and are bullies after a few weeks of messing around with this, can get nuisance birds out to 20ft with 5/16 steel balls. they probably would die eventually but quickly finish the job with a stick At 40ft I can get consistently a few inches away from the target. Not sure if the ball would have enough power to disable the bird at 40ft. Maybe 3/8" steel ball would be better at 40ft. But the bigger the ball the further it will go beyond your target so think about what's behind practice makes perfect

Works with paintballs too

Letting the kids have some fun with it hitting targets without using something like a marble. Using paintballs works well with it.

I had one of these as a kid hunting small game. I guess the muscle memory is still there.

awesome slingshot

accuracy: i tested the accuracy and it is right on. it is straight and centered. durability: it is pretty decent with durability. i have noticed that the string has stretched a little bit, but it is still strong and powerful. sturdiness: the sturdiness is perfect. it is strong metal, and i have probably shot it 250 feet. overall this is an awesome slingshot and an easy five stars!

You get what you pay for

You actually can't complain about the price.... but that is the only good thing. It is hard to pull and aim. It has power but it goes all over the place. I am new to sling shooting and it might be me. This is not a sling shot for me and I sent it back. Might be good for someone with stronger arms and a different approach - like very close targets or something.
