This is the second one of these spiderweb-type nets I've purchased. I bought the first one on May 14, 2011, for $24.88 right here on Amazon. I'm involved with my kids' Scout troop and drive on our camping trips, so I use the net 8 times per year for overnight trips and once per year for an 8-9 day trip to cover a tarp over duffel bags, tents and sleeping bags in the bed of my pickup. When not in use, I keep the net and tarp clean and dry in the garage with our camp gear. With the first one, after a few years of gentle, occasional use, some of the bungee strands began to break. Not a big deal, as the spiderweb design makes it easy to use a different strand to secure a load. But after five years, enough strands had broken that I needed a new net. I was very pleased with getting five years out of the first one and I liked the design, so I purchased a new one from Amazon on April 5, 2016, for $23.54. The bungee material of the new net was much thinner than that of the first net even though it was a repeat order from my order history and the identical brand/model, W3000 EZ Net. I considered returning it, but gave it a try instead, thinking that although the strands were much thinner (perhaps 2/3 the width of the first net, or 2/3 the thickness of a standard bungee cord), they would probably work just as well since I never had much of a strain on them. Boy was I wrong. Some of the strands broke after a few uses. It seemed every time I used the net another strand broke, and several more were close to breaking where they attached. This afternoon, October 1, 2017, we returned from overnight camping, and this was the last time I will use this net. I had to tie pieces together just to get it home. Five years for the first net, and 1 1/2 years for the second, with identical usage tells me that quality has taken a dive. Stay away from this one. Now, I'm looking through Amazon's other offerings to choose a different net.
