BEST ARTIST TOOL EVER!
I am a cartoonist / graphic designer. I never had a "light table" for tracing, didn't do much tracing and didn't have the space for such a bulky equiptment! I had never heard of a Cricut Go! I saw it while browsing online and then found some videos. To be honest, I wasn't sure how good it would be, but let me tell you, it's "phenominal!" The Cricut Go allows me to trace my rough sketches so that I can make multiple tracings, and I can make changes from the original and also a cleaner, final version. I used to always wait and go to zerox the original, so that I would have the original version, before I go crazy changing and erasing elements that I liked and possibly losing them forever! In seconds I can trace multiple versions with different eyes, nose, etc! Sometimes I had even held my drawing up to a lamp to trace without great results. This Cricut Go is a "DREAM!" It's about the same thickness as a smartphone and light as a feather! I am now tracing more and more! it's an incentive to create more and go further with my designs than I did in the past, setting me free!

Perfect
Ease of use and the fact that it is portable is perfect. I’m not sure how long the battery lasts when not plugged in yet but I can’t wait to see. I love how bright it is and that it has five brightness levels.

I was hesitant at first about spending the money on this. But it’s definitely worth it. I am someone who sometimes has trouble seeing when weeding especially with white and black vinyl. This worked great to see the small details. The brightness isn’t too bright that it would hurt your eyes. The pad is lightweight, a hood size and stays charged for a decent amount of time.

This is great for weeding black vinyl! I had a Bright pad before, but the cordless version is so much more convenient!

I Love LOVE My BrightPad!
I Love LOVE My BrightPad, My Son gave it to me for Christmas, I didn’t know what I was missing! The BrightPad makes weeding sooo much easier, I can’t even properly express how much easier! I have heard others talk in their reviews about how easily it scratches I personally don’t know about that because after reading their reviews I’m very careful when weeding and so far ( I know it’s only been a couple of months) it hasn’t scratched. In my opinion it’s well worth it to get a BrightPad!

Works well but…
Works great for doing my diamond paintings. It does flicker sometimes when I’m trying to turn it on as you can see in some of the video reviews. I have to unplug it from the pad, plug it back in and it works fine again.

Cricut bright pad
Excellent quality and great price!! This is great it makes it so much easier to weed my vinyl. I definitely recommend buying this product.

Great for embroidery
So, I do all sorts of crafting. I ❤️ cricut stuff and purchased this even though ots double the price of other light up mats. The 3 grades of light are great! But it's not a very sturdy pad, and the wire isn't very long so you can't move about much. It would've been better if you could charge it rather that have to have a mains plug.

I like this BUT most of the advice for "weeding' vinyl says to do it on the mat - so - ????
Bought for creative tasks - re: vinyl and weeding-out the smaller details... I genuinely like this light pad, however, most of the advice I read on creative websites suggests for this "weeding" process of vinyl, is that its always best to do so on the mat - hence - I am a tad confused & feel a tad silly ... but hey ho,. I do like this method for now (and I guess as its the *only* method I've used it works for me...) might not suit everyone and I am sure has many other creative applications! :)

Not a UK plug
I haven’t actually used this yet but one thing I will explain is that it DOES NOT come with a UK 3 pin plug, only a US one. Luckily the USB charger can be used with another plug but just be warned.

Easy to use
The first one stopped working after 5 minutes. This was replaced no problem. It feels quite flimsy, but does what it needs to.
